It looks great, a bit like msn but better (the avatar on the left for example, you've got a point that it's better located there), the only thing is, it doesn't really fit with the rest of kopete :) but still it's a big improvement. - Aug 28 2006

Hye, I've been thinking about your nice little app and it has quite some potential with this comment I hope to help a bit.

Distinction between movie dvd's and music dvd's. Music DVD's offer often extra clips but all in one file, perhaps it could be possible to select you want to rip a music-track so it can cut it into different parts (like every new "scene" is a different clip, the possibility to cut the track in pieces is already there, the ammount of desired tracks is just not that much (which is good for movie DVD's, not so for concerts/musicclips).

Possibility for as-lossless-as-possible, or "open-format" ripping (in for example flac and xvid, or vorbis and theora or..., just somewhere hidden, apparently for some reason I can't play the files it creates in Kubuntu). And perhaps subtitle selection, can't remember if it does this already, it's been a while since I used it.

I know this program is ment to be just click and run and keep it simple, but I think these options could be quite usefull for people who just want to rip DVD's to their computer, but I think giving the possibility to tweak it a little shouldn't get in the way of an easy and simple approach. - Jun 30 2006

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

that's the message, I have compiled only one package in my life, and that was with some aid, it was libxine, and well that one works :s. now I tried to compile something on my own :s and it doesn't work. - Dec 14 2005
Hye, it's a nice theme, but I'm using kubuntu in 64 bit mode, and I have tried to compile the thing myself, but I don't get it to compile something with x not correct, does this sound familiar, or do I have to look somewhere else? - Dec 13 2005

Hye, nice theme, but is it possible to make it change the size? because when there's a larger comic, it just stops at the end of the fixed 'frame', so I get only half of the commic.

Hye, nice feature, but when the dayli comic is larger than the usual, it tries to stuff everything in the small window, wich makes it unreadable, is there a solution to this?

Really like it. although there are some missing, it's the best from what I've seen around here, keep up the good work :-). (really love your amarok icon (the blue, white gray black combination is the best). - Aug 15 2005
Hye, great icons, I changed my theme to fit them :). So now I've got a black and white and grey desktop, except for a few icons, and I think especially kopete and kaffeine are commonly used, the others are kaudiocreator, kynaptics and kuser ;-). But they are less important. Good job. - Jul 25 2005

Hye, I installed it, and tested it, and when I push on the test button it works, but when I reload kde, it doesn't work, it shows the theme it is based on. Can you help me with this? - Aug 01 2005

Hye, great theme, I don't know what iconset you're using but I find the aqua fusion icons to be fitting it well, although the combination of blue and brown seems strange, the blue of aqua fusion is soft enough to fit the light brwon. now the only thing missing is wallpaper that fits it :s all mine are flashy blue at this time. - Jul 23 2005

I completely agree :), but I think an "advanced" option should be in it as well, for the people who do care about what package exactly is installed, although I wouldn't use it ;-). And maybe this could be somehow integrated in KDE Control Center itself? - Jun 29 2005

This is something completely different: kpackage shows to much packages, for a noob you're not looking for packages, but for programs, let there please be a POSSIBILITY (and of course anther possibility for the ones who don't like the idea at all) for someone just to look what programs are installed, instead of all the packages, it's one chaos right now. Now you have to go to a biiiiiiig list to see what's installed and what's not. All the other things like dependent/redundant packages should be done automaticaly, without to much hassle. It's just something linux misses, and this idea is great, but I think it should just be a gui to unite for example autopackage, portage, apt, these three can co-exist on one system (I think), since they all serve a different meaning. - Jun 29 2005

nice picture, is there a similar theme like ubuntu's but in blue? since I really don't like the kubuntu theme, way to disturbing for the eyes, the ubuntu is more peacefull. I think I'm gonna work on that myself. - Jun 19 2005

Great theme, the blue was making my eyes wanting to rest, and the white did the same, this theme is softer, and less disturbing for the eyes, great job :-). - Jun 15 2005
