ok - so I tried the plasmoid widget again. It installs in the panel and will not work. It cannot install to latte dock. It installs to the desktop AND WORKS but in an open extended form . That's ok if you are someone who litters their desktop with widgets or if you use the de as an office for communication but otherwise it is an imposition.
Can this install as a pop out widget in the panel to be concealed until called upon? Can it be connected to Kaddressbook so as to click a number and have the kde sms widget pop up? Typing numbers that you have to look up means you will simply use the phone instead.
Good job - just needs the extra steps to be awesome!
Or am I an idiot who cannot install and use it right?
Thanks! - Aug 10 2018
How do you get this working?
I installed the plasmoid widget and put it in the panel. There was no icon. Clicking the space brought up what it was - but no option to sms!
I uninstalled and tried github.
