Description: This item is a part of Steam-Powered Linux KDE theme set.
The idea is to apply steampunk style to every themeable part of KDE-based distro. Any constructive feedback is highly appreciated. I will try to implement your propositions/fix bugs once I have spare time.
Plymouth theme notes: Installation is the same as for any other scripted Plymouth theme. Make sure that correct paths are defined in SteampunK.plymouth and default.plymouth files. Usually /usr/share/plymouth/themes/ or /lib/plymouth/themes/
Any feedback/bug report is welcome. But please tell me about your issues only if you have other scripted Plymouth themes running fine, so I can save time for real issues and further development.
Hi. LOVE the various SteampunK themes, and have totally pimped out my system with them. All that is missing is a GRUB background, which I can easily do myself from the wallpapers, and an icon theme, which I can't even find mention of let alone make myself. Does anyone know of an icon theme that would go well with a SteampunKed KDE desktop?

Probably the best options I know of are: Old Ubuntu (shiny orange with a lot of browns; there is or was a KDE compatible port somewhere), Wood Icons (here: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Wood+Icon+Theme?content=160198 ) or (maybe, haven't tried it) KFaenza with beige folders, Umicons or Buuf.
Actually, I am working on Yakuake theme right now :) It won't look like the panel in plymouth, but it will inherit style from the other parts of the steampunk theme
I would love to be able to use this bootsplash, but it doesn't appear to support the dm-crypt/LUKS password prompt.
Would there be any chance of adding this?
There is already some password-question functionality, but have not tested it as I'm not using it myself. Could you please point me to some scripted plymouth splash that has such functionality, so I can take a look?

Looking at your screenshot at first I thought "oh what a nice yakuake theme" ;). But isn't that so absurd? Might it be possible?

/lib/plymouth/themes/kubuntu-logo/kubuntu-logo.script supports asking for a password. The section is called "Display Password stuff". Greetings Erik
