Sorry everyone! I know it is absolutely a stupid think to ask, but I am new to Screenlets and Desklets.
So could you tell me how do you RUN it.
I have it put in the correct folder I just can't figure out a way how to run it.
Thanks.

this 1.02 has a bug... pointer goes from 99% to 80% and again and again... and it shows this all the time... but in terminal with top it shows another value...

After installing this screenlet a couple of days ago my cpu started working like crazy ALL the time. I couldn't locate any offending process that's causing this frantic activity, and things calmed down when I quit the screenlet. It seems to me that instead of measuring cpu activity, it was generating it. Would be nice if this bug gets fixed. Thanks.

circle in second skin is not centered properly, it goes over cpu text

The meter isn't very accurate because the crappy interval. If i put it to 1 it locks up so that won't help. You really should solve this bug

cool screenlet though...

I set the refresh to 1 second (d'oh) and every time I load the screenlet it tries to do what it was doing last (which was crashing) -.- Do you know of anyway to fix this?

Very nice especially the dark theme... I love the pipe.

How does it work on a dualcore or quadcore machine,does it average the load or just read one core?

When i try:
screenletsd start CPU_Meter
It answer me:
Class CPU_MeterScreenlet not found.

Why , because the original CPUMeter
works fine !

Help !

you should run it like this

python ...... /../../CPu_meterscreenlet.py

But I get some errors when I try to run it:

tony@heaven:~$ screenlets-control
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/screenlets-control", line 151, in <module>
hwg = ScreenletsManager()
File "/usr/local/bin/screenlets-control", line 64, in __init__
pixbuf = gtk.gdk.pixbuf_new_from_file_at_size(self.screenlets_dir + screenlet + '/icon.svg', 56, 56)
gobject.GError: Failed to open file '/usr/local/share/screenlets/CPUMeter/icon.svg': No such file or directory

Maybe these errors come from the previous CPUMeter configuration. I also tried adding the screenlet by the menu and It didn't work either.

Thanks,

its CPU_meter not cpu meter , your folder is wrong

Yah, I checked that alredy and I guess there's something wrong related to my screenlet program. I tried to install some other themes (from screenlet-extra.deb pack) and It didn't work as well. This time, the folder's names remained untouched, the way I unpacked them.
I'm gonna try re-installing it and see what happens.

Thanks,
