I hate to bring up the subject but it is now 8.31.2010; the weekend you referred to discussing when the broken link would be repaired is very well past.
Unless of course, something applies differently in your region of the Earth.
Maybe a Black Hole opened up in Europe causing a prolonged time dilation?
