hey man, great theme, but the direction bar in nautilus and firefox is dark, and so is the text. i cant read it, how do i change that?

JohnnyJu

i like the grey def better than the others! specially the green/grey is cool. and perhaps a bit darker grey.. for the rest: good work!

metacity buttons too ugly

Viejo, ha conseguido un exelente trabajo. Es muy probable que me quede con estos temas por un larguisimo tiempo.

Hey, Great lookin theme. However, Im wondering if Im the only one where the coloring isn't changing in the Metacity themes. I have the most recent Murrine engine from SVN. All other murrine themes change the metacity colors properly but this one. Not sure why :(

byprozac

Try some "manual refresh" ... select other theme and then select this again. Maybe it works for you. :)

arussak

Hey, great theme! I was curious as to how you have a pidgin buddylist on the side like that? Thanks in advance!

byprozac

You need to install Screenlets and then Pidgin screenlet. Pidgin screenlet can be found here http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/PidginScreenlet?content=72611

What engine(s) do the GTK themes use? They're all just showing up as GNOME's ugly default look.

byprozac

Did you read the description text above? "They are based on Murrine SVN engine." ... that means Murrine SVN engine is required.

fredbird67

Byprozac, are you one of the creators of Progex? If so, I think you may be on to something. As much as I enjoy using Ubuntu, I've never understood just why they insist on having brown for a default color scheme. I think I read somewhere where Mark Shuttleworth likes that look, but still, that never has made sense to me, as I think the blue looks MUCH better. Anyways, I have a question about Progex: Is the DVD both a live and installable DVD? If so, I may just have to download it and take it for a live-DVD spin if that's possible. Thanx in advance, Fred in St. Louis, MO USA

Yes , is the DVD both a live and installable DVD. Greetings: Agust

I saw the screenshots. Think that this distri have to much applications. Many applications for music, many apps for messages, blender, inkscape and and and ... Why so many apps are preinstalled? The distri don't have a packagemanager? What about securityupdates and actualations? It's not better to install selected apps, one or two for every category? So it would burnable on a normal CD... Which packages uses this distri? Deb or rpm? Which sources are used? Sources form Ubuntu? Mandriva? Fedora? Suse? You see ... asks and asks ;) But yes, on the screenshots it looked very nice :)

Hola Si quieres informarte acerca de alguna distribución, tal vez encuentres útil www.distrowatch.com Saludos

schollidesign

Pues, no aparece ahí ... aún ;) Pero ya se que esta a base de ubuntu y las aplicationes son tantas porque piensan que asi viene todo ya bien adaptado ... más para cargar y installar ... seguro que desinstallaria la mitad ;)

Very clean and elegant themes. Even the distribution looks very promising. Voted good. Btw I'm downloding the distro now :)
