NetChat is a very simple and little Karamba/SuperKaramba script/theme
wich makes it possible to chat on
every samba or nfs network.
Read the readme.install file for more info, please use the install.sh script to install it. It's real easy!

Available in English, Francais and Nederlands. Anybody willing to translate it in German/Deutsch? If so mail me and i will send you the lines to translate.

I changed the default font size, it was to small on resolution higher than 1024x768. I am working on a version that
includes Python scripts. No idea when it is finished.

I dropped xterm for kdialog (see screenshot2) its more elegant and
fits better in the kde desktop.
Some script tweaks nothing special.

UPDATE!: added a theme function, i got
borded with the XP theme so i added an Apple Xmod (screenshot 1) theme its nicer i think.
Make sure you have the latest download to have the theme function.

I did some minor things like changing
the intitial position of the theme
and edited the xmms control bar original designed by Everaldo, credit where credit goes. I am making version 0.3 and its supposed to have sound in it, that is if someone send a message the others get an attention alarm/bell. Figuring out how to do it right now....

I changed the default console for sending the message from konsole to xterm because its more custmizable and way faster. If you do not have xterm (most will have it istalled default) your can comment out the xterm line in the message file.

IMPORTANT: FIXED INTERVAL, i forgot to set the INTERVAL time back to 1800, in the older file it was still 1 so it checked every millisecond if a new message was send. Ooops..

fixed the script its now also displaying the hostame of the computer that is sending the message. Trying to make it beep to but echo -e "7" does not work anyone know if karamba has a sensor for beeping? or sound?
