Description:

This theme displays the weather information from Environment Canada's website. They only have Canadian locations there, so this theme is only for Canadians - sorry!
You can select any location in Canada that is listed on Environment Canada's website - basically anywhere in Canada.
It can display the weather in either English or French.
You can configure the background as completely transparent or semi-translucent with a blue, red or green tint.
Hope you enjoy it.
Requires superkaramba and convert(of imagemagick)

I go to chose location and it stalls for a second then absolutely nothing happens. What am I missing?. Looks like an awesome widget and I would like to use it.

I get the same thing. I have used this widget in the past and loved it; it was my favorite widget, but now it does not work. I think it may have something to do with upgrading to a newer version of KDE or SuperKaramba.

Sadly, I don't think this is going to get fixed because it seems this widget haves been abandoned and I do not have even close to enough development knowledge to help.

ok nm.. reloadded the theme and it works again. What do you recommend for a font? The days of the week don't line up with the pictures for me. I'll try moving it down.

I do like this but find it to be a bit big on my other system. Would be nice to have a small ver. with just the current conditions and forecasted for today only. Similar to this flash ver.:

I do like this but find it to be a bit big on my other system. Would be nice to have a small ver. with just the current conditions and forecasted for today only. Similar to this flash ver.:

Thank you very much. Environment Canada is my favourite place to get weather because it's usually very accurate, but I couldn't find a karamba theme for it until now. There are some things that may need to be ironed out, for example the icons have a white border around them which makes them harder to see, but aside from that it's great.

Thx man, liquid weather wasn't giving an accurate forecast for my area, this works much better for me :)

I set the language to English. That works.

Then I go into "Choose your Location" and superkaramba freezes up on me. Is there something I need to do to tell it about my web browser or proxy settings?

Sorry John. This theme doesn't support proxy servers right now.
