this is my first contribution inspired by GNU/Linux for kdm (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=20653)
To install this theme, you need kde 3.4.
untar archive in $KDEDIR/share/apps/kdm/themes
and modify your $KDEDIR/share/config/kdm/kdmrc like this:
Theme=/opt/kde3.4/share/apps/kdm/themes/gnu-linux
