Description: I am designing a entire new branding for Debian, including visual guidelines, color palette, etc, for a more stylized and modern feel.
For example, there is a differential logo specific for use in developer's events and their websites http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Modern+Debian+Brand+for+developers?content=137460&PHPSESSID=758b8ca30f42a2cbd59b4744b18c283a
Also, for the Debian Women group, check the file.
The point is, this will try to be an entire comprehensive branding for all aspects Debian. This is in early stages, and I need your support voting positive if you think this deserves to replace the old beloved logo, then I will know if you agree and will continue developing this.
All these pictures are in low resolution because they are only mockups, but absolutely doable cuz I have the fonts, and am editor of fonts and vector graphics.
Authors of the fonts> Tarin Samuel [humanabase] humanabase@yahoo.fr and Derek Vogel Pohl derek.vogelpohl@shyfoundry.com
These are free fonts found in the Internet, choosed among literally hundreds of free fonts, and modified to fit an OS font. By sebagmz, Argentina.
I think it's awesome! I also think the swirl should be a bit stylised to go better with the font you created. Any chance of seeing that font as a TTF? It'd be cool to use it on window borders.
