I had to rename the following entry in the "Theme.rc" for this splash theme to work:
From:
[KSplash Theme: Gentoo Tux On War]
To:
[KSplash Theme: gentoo-tux]
The entry should be the same name as the directory the theme is located in. Otherwise I wasn't able to use it. It showed up in the ksplah config panel and I was able to test it, but when I tried the command "ksplash" in a shell, the default splash theme fired up. Renaming as mentioned above did the trick.
BTW: Using "g e n t o o ..." as flashing icons is a very nice idea. I like it.
> It should read "The War Has Begun," not "Began."
I'll fix it soon, I hope so...;-) What a misspelling;-) (that's what happens when you don't use english every day:D)
> Otherwise, it was awesome! Now, if only I used gentoo...
Thx:)
