Amarok Rocker Splash

Again, the artwork is not mine. The author is *vhm-alex and the work is found here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20809051/?qo=8&q=music&qh=boost%3Apopular+age_sigma%3A24h+age_scale%3A5 I hope you like what I've done with it!

To install:

To install this splash screen, first make sure amarok is closed. Then, click the "download" link, download the .tar file and extract it somewhere. Then, copy the splash_screen.jpg file to ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/images (if the "images" directory doesn't exist inside the amarok folder, just create it!). Should work! If you have amarok open and you replace the file, you'll have to restart it once or twice to get it to work. ;)

very nice, i really like your splashscreen.

but in my opinnion it should be much more cool if you make corners more round;)

Hey! I'm glad you like it! I've tried to make round corners on a few and set the background to transparency. They look nice in the GIMP, but when I try to use them as the amarok splash, it fills in the corners with a whitish background. So, they look really bad. :( I wish I knew a way around it...
