I've noticed on your screenshot and a few others that people have gnome panels that are rounded at the corners. Others have separate panels (with rounded corners.) How is this accomplished in Gnome? thanks
Sorry for late reply, as I'm not a great artist. I'm amateur GIMP user.
Rounded corners is nothing but transparency in png image.
It will be best fitted in 1440 Pixel width only.
If you have lesser resolution width than 1440 pixel image will be cropped.
And If you have greater resolution width than 1440 pixel, Image will be multiplied.
That's why square panels works with any resolution but rounded one does not.
Well, I will consider making rounded backgrounds for 786, 800, 1080 and 1200 widths.
You guessed it right, you need 1440 px width, But im not sure about lower resolutions because i don't have small monitor. I will update more resolutions.
