- it should be an gtk-module, like globalmenu (wich I use).
While I don't wan't to force anyone to use globalmenu, I don't want to be forced to use this compact style... (althought its nice, yepp ^^)
What can i say, that has not already been said.
Its beautiful! You folks at Gnome and Ubuntu look at this.. This is what is should move towards in the future
I love this theme. It really is a work of art and would be a great benefit to the GNOME project, which in my opinion is plagued with bad looks.
The only suggestion I would have is that if you are looking at modifying GNOME so heavily, that you adopt what I think is a beautiful skinning concept and integrate the titlebar and the menu into one, as Vista has done. This promotes the "Full" seamless effect that is already present.
Please, update? We need this!
looks good. like a mature, well polished default KDE environment. infact, i'll go out on a limb and say this is how KDE should look, minus the gnome logo ;)
Open Gconf editor
/>Desktop>gnome>interface>toolbar_style
set that to "icons"
now you need to open
/usr/share/nautilus/ui/nautilus-navigation-window-ui.xml
with your text editor
scroll down to the bottom and remove whatever toolbar pieces you don't like
I'll work on the other things!!
The menu is attached to the right of the window. But normaly all menus will pop up to the right. In maximized state that menus will be pressed at the right side. This could make it hard to select the entries.
(Try moving your window so far to right, that the menubar (normaly "Help") is attached to the right. Now try to navigate through nested menus.)
Could this amazing mockup be moved to the Topaz Brainstorm category? The different menu layout would probably require some extensive themeing support code revamping or addition in gtk+ core code, etc..
Yeah... release it.
Come on, this thing is rated 91% and counting on the site. You've got a moral... *duty* to release it now. :-)
BTW: What Wallpaper is it :-D

Simple, compact, light and free. Can I need something else? No, We can't!
I want the compact style to be adopted in gnome 3. It's genius!

Wow this is one nice theme. Can't wait for it.
The wallpaper is still on deviantart's servers. Just copy/paste http://www.deviantart.com/view/24425611/ into google, and go to the cache to download.
Wow. That's how I'd like my desktop to look... nice mockup, mate. ;)
