Your BootSplash looks really nice, but isn't fully working. I don't know whether it is my configuration or a bug in your splash.
After a silent bootup, I only get a framebuffer console on tty1, on tty2 and upwards remains the silent picture.

hi where did you get this nice tux from? looks very svg-ish? could you post it or a link to it? i like your bootsplash, and i love gentoo too :-) i'd love to make a wallpaper out of this.
