KCheckGmail crashes with signal 11 (SIGSEGV) when it tries to log in.

I tried with and without "@gmail.com"

Always when I see settings, password is changed to three letters.

I'm maintaining a debian package for testing here: http://deb.atomo64.puffinhost.com/

I would love if kcheckmail displays part of the email text, the same way google talk does :)

Anyway, kcheckgmail is a awesone and very usefull tool, thank you very much.

Hey, i've fixed that, there was problem in kcheckgmailtray.cpp, the developer left buggy checking for password length. The application works, seems good )

If you want to get fixed version mail me on me@progtech.ru :)

I maintain two gmail accounts (one for lists, public things, etc, and the other for professional reasons) and it would truly be great if this application supported multiple accounts.

Right now, the only thing I've found that does this is the GMail Manager firefox extension -- which works great, but I'm currently attempting to rid myself of my firefox dependence.

Thanks, and great job on this app!

No matter how many time I try I can't get it to remember more than 3 characters out of the password. Each time I bring up the config dialog there are only 3 stars. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance.

I still get an 'invalid user name or password' error. For some reason, it works if I start it from the command line. If it's started from the k-menu, or as part of a kde session, it won't log in.

Please post if you get it figured out. I'll do the same.

Hi,
This backtrace is only really helpful if kcheckgmail is compiled with debugging enabled.
