Description:

T4G (Theme For Gnome)
Made by paulxfce (alias Manjarocinnamonfan, paulubuntu)

A heavily modified version of the Arc-theme with many transparent items

This is a pure gnome edition: Only GTK 3 and GTK 2 files included (no metacity-theme because gnome 3 draws its own window decorations )
Works with 3.20+

To put the buttons to the left open a terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout "close,minimize,maximize:"

UPDATED!

-Now I made and added a matching gnome-shell theme.
-cleaning up the code

Update 30/1/2017:

For the nerds among us:
- New switch-button
- to make the headerbar less flat I changed the flat color to a gradient
- gradient applied to the single titlebar as well. So the GTK-2-applications have transparent titlebars.
- transparentized the window-buttons (close, min, max) so they blend more with the transparent headerbar and titlebar.

love it! Transparencies disappear if you put your apps on full screen though, is there a way to tweak it or is that the way it's supposed to be?

Yes, Transparency has little sense in full-screen-modus.

Thank you for this theme, Really like it, but would like to ask if you could do a red version, i mean change all blue to red (the round circles, text highlight colour, etc), that way it would match my computer which is black with red lights, also on gnome shell when you click the time and the mini calendar show's could you make today's date highlight a brighter more easy to see colour, thanks.

There is red, and then there is red: give me a html-colorcode (something like #FF0000"): a soothing kind of red I think might work. Still first need to refine this theme first, before adding variants in colors...

there's a tab just above these comments: Files. Download the file, extract it and move the content to .../usr/share/themes or move it to the '.themes' folder in your home directory. To see the hidden files press ctrl h. If there isn't any file that is named: '.themes' then create one.

It would be so beautiful if total dark (inside the windows)
Will you make a such version? I'll use it.
Also, good job.

I'll do that! Not that to much work.

I've tried the dark version for testing, but I run in allot of issues: dark theme looks dreadfull on Libre-office, Inkscape, the gimp. Because those applications don't theme right. It only works good on pure gnome3-applications. Which is why I hesitate on uploading it now.
