Hello. I really like this theme. However, the latest version (4.6 beta) has some compatibility problem with Gnome extension OpenWeather as shown in https://postimg.org/image/mu80qfbg3/. It would be great if you can fix it. ^^ Also, I think you can consider maintaining two version of this theme, one is grey (like 4.6), the other is white (like 4.2). I like the previous white version very much, too.

comment for 4.6 beta: I love the changes in this theme but I use zorin menu and this theme causes it to choose the light variant of start-here-symbolic icon and that doesn't show up well at all. it possible to fix this?

Comment for Version 4.5 BETA

Personal observations:

- Sliders for volume and brightness should be smaller. The previous ones were perfect in my opinion.

- If you want to do a dark variant of the theme, you should also make the top bar dark. Like this: https://isolve-isolve.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/How-to-Use-Optimized-Storage-on-macOS-Sierra.jpg
You could call this dark variant "Human Dark". For comparison, here is the light variant: https://cdn2.macworld.co.uk/cmsdata/features/3649163/apple-menu_thumb.jpg
I think that given the limits of GTK+ 3 (no blur), you pretty much nailed the light variant.

- I thought you nailed the dock color and transparency in 4.2 but it is even better now. For both light and potential dark variant of your theme.

- Menus might be too big. Given the size of your to bar, the size of the menus is pretty disturbing.

- I don't know why you use grey for the hover and selection colors but I think blue would be more appropriate given the goal of your theme is to reproduce macOS look. That's only a matter of personal taste.

- I know you recommend Gnome-OSX for your theme but I've found it to work better with OSX-Arc-Plus

Technical issues:
- For some reasons, if a menu has only one entry, it shows the entry and then put one or two empty lines under the first and only useful line. I had that on 4.2 too.

For the rest, good work in general. Continue like that!

I almost forgot. In personal observations:
- The Power Off color looks really bright. A slightly darker color might be better.

Thank you sooo much for your suggestions.
This slider style is the style of new iOS 11.
What color did you mean by "Power off color", Is that red color button in the power off dialog ?????? or the white color circular button ???

Ok, I've seen where it comes from. Remember that what is good in mobile interface might not be on desktop. I think there are two solutions:
- You can wait a little and see how High Sierra does it to use those sliders
- You can keep this aesthetics but make the bar smaller (a half or a third of its current width) to keep the iOS feel while maintaining a good coherency with the desktop.
- You can leave it like that. It's your theme after all ^^

I was talking about the red. The grey is good and coherent with the rest of the theme.

One last thing I forgot:
- The notifications that appear on the centre of the screen when using Fn-keys to change the volume or brightness (I don't know how to call that)

And I take back what I said about Gnome OSX, your theme works really well with the last version (Gnome OSX H.Sierra)

OK. I'll do something to the slider. (but I really like this style)
Changed the color of the power off button to a light red color and changed the colors of dialog boxes to dark.
Wait for the v4.6 (beta).
And thank you again.

May I suggest a Human Mobile variant with the iOS style slider and notification area? That way, you could suit everyone's preferences and keep the 4.5 sliders (it is your theme after all).

We would then have:
- Human Light with light notification area, menus and top bar and desktop macOS style sliders

- Human Dark with dark notification area, menus and top bar and desktop macOS style sliders

- Human Mobile with Human 4.5 notification area and menus and a fully transparent or dark translucent top bar that becomes dark or light when a window is maximized (like the future behaviour of the top bar on Gnome 3.26) and the current sliders to mimic behaviour and look of iOS 11.

Also, a bug or problem I noticed while using 4.5 BETA is that it is impossible for the sliders bar to be completely full when sound is maximized.

Keep up with the good work! It's one of my favourite shell theme with United.

It's hard to maintain multiple variants.
Slightly reduce the height of sliders.

Dark color top panel is really ugly with the design of this theme. White color is the best.

Hey @UMAYANGA, I have a question! If I try to enable global menu extension I get this problem: http://i.imgur.com/XmxLd4z.png (white fonts instead of black). I tried going to gnome-shell.css to #panel and set color: black; but didn't work =// any ideas?

I can play around with my own fork of the extension here (https://github.com/bill-mavromatis/Gnome-Global-AppMenu) and trying to change stylesheet.css. (add color black into *) but then the top left icon gets messy...

Thanks!

Ohhhh!
Now I'm uploading themes with the same name "Human.zip" instead of putting version number in the name like "Human-4-2.zip". Please check the address of the theme's zip file now. Is it still changing ?

And I know that it's hard to fork this theme to GitHub and manually maintaining it.
Changing the URL of this theme in your layout manager whenever I update this theme is the easiest thing that you can do.
I'm sooooo sorry. I don't know GitHub and my current method is the easiest method for me.
I'll try to request a static address from open desktop (opendesktop.org) for the downloadable file.
Thank you sooo much and sorry for late to reply.

Sorry for late to reply.
This is the 3rd time that I'm replying to this comment. Both of my previous comments are gone. I don't know what happened.

I'm sorry mate. I have no idea about that issue. I don't know about github and I know that it's so much hard to maintain a separate github for this theme. Because you have to update that theme in github whenever I update the theme in gnome-look. I think changing the link of this theme in your display manager when ever I update this theme is the easiest way.

Now I'm uploading the theme file with the same name (Human.zip) instead of including the version numer to the theme name (Human-4-2.zip).

So please check the link of version 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2.
