I was able to put this one working on Linux Lite and is awesome.
I modified the hexadecimal background to dark grey and looks very pretty.
Download my upload
Copy to /usr/share/plymouth/themes
open the terminal and run
sudo ln -sf /usr/share/plymouth/themes/ingress/ingress.plymouth /etc/alternatives/default.plymouth
and at last
sudo update-initramfs -u
