Description:

*ahem* ok, the idea and the picture weren't mine, KrAzY gave me idea for shutdown and i just gimped out the aqua-kde logo from silcndrgn's aqua wallpaper :)

I thought since i am running liquid and it put a liquid splashscreen up, then i might just make a liquid shutdown screen.

Installation: download, rename as shutdownkonq.png copy to home/.kde/share/apps/ksmserver/pics

Note: screenshot is larger than the actual download (defeats the purpose, eh?)

*drool* Man, this is what I love about open source. Someone does a little tiny bit of work... and the community shapes it into some really slick stuff! Great job! I love it! :)

Really nice! When I see such Screenshots I almost want to switch to an Aqua-style too. :)

So, is this the "normal" Liquid style? Or are you using anything more like different colorthemes, backgrounds or anything else?

Thanks,
Marcel

At the moment i'm just using defaults of everything. select liquid style, colour scheme, and window decoration.

Mosfet rulz, no?

Jupp, you're absolutely right. And so are many of the other artist here at KL.org. I'm really happy "having" such a place like this. :-)

Thanks to all of you guys!

Thanks,

You need to use KDM for the login.

If you run startx, only logout will appear.

You also need KDM 3.x it won't work with the KDM from KDE 2.x

I have _NO_ idea how it works. On my dad's computer it only shows the logout confirmation thing! maybe its got something to do with autologon...
