Description:

This is a modified version of the renamer script for nautilus (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/nautilus-renamer?content=87601). All I did was modifying the makefile to copy the files to ~/.local/share/nautilus/scripts instead of ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts.

just as described in the original post: extract the zip file, open a terminal, navigate to folder of the extracted zip file and run "make localinstall"
