Axiom
Gnome Shell Themes
Score 68%
Description:

Axiom is based on the Arc-Dark Gnome Shell theme. The goal of this theme is first to create a more free and spacious desktop, but also to be more consistent to the Arc-Dark gtk theme than the original Arc-Dark theme actually is (in my opinion).

I have made the Dash "Show Applications" button round, so this shell theme is probably suitable for round icon themes...

Extract the archive and copy or move the Axiom folder to either "~.local/share/themes/" or "/usr/share/themes/" depending on if you want it for all users or not.

Hope you'll enjoy it!

If you are on Wayland you need this in order to get transparent panel: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1011/dynamic-panel-transparency/

Made the dash/dock tighter in order to save space and also make the shadows more distinct. Also updated the preview image so you get an idea of what the dock now looks like :-) Also included a preview of the top panel in maximized window mode.

I think I am the one who should say "sorry", haha - Sorry for not checking the comments unitl now :-D

I guess you have already solved your problem, but in case you haven't; You need to install the "Dash to dock" gnome extension ( https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to-dock/ )
You can of course also run Plank or any other dock-application, but the gnome dash is nice as it is and more... as gnome is intended to be :-p

Hm, you should first install Gnome Desktop Environment on your Ubuntu. This theme only works on Gnome :-)

OK :-) I am not an active GNOME desktop user; I setup GNOME, on that computer, which for the moment is my only personal computer, to use it to do the work I have to do, and I have some computer spare parts and I will buy some other spare parts to build my very own personal computer and on that computer I will probably won't setup GNOME desktop because that's just not what I use on Linux, I'm not that interested in GNOME. I like the Axiom shell theme because is modern and decent, enough to use it on a work-to-do desktop computer. Thanks :-)

Here is a $screenfetch: https://yadi.sk/i/HRMWXvUtxXVSi I've erased Solus installation on my local hard disk due to a minor bug in the mouse pointer theme that I couldn't fix and that I've considered so annoying....

I think I experienced something similar when i tired Solus. If you like KDE then I can recommend KaOS :-D ( http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=kaos )

nah, I like Debian GNU/Linux :-) ; Thank you but I am yet not familiar with # pacman ( package manager ) and the Arch User Repository!. Now in this message I tell you is that I have tested netrunner Core Linux distribution and the result of test is unstable operationg experience mostly due to KDE ,how it works ,and because of combination Debian #stable system plus latest desktop environment libraries does not pair and/or cooperate well in my opinion; so I had erased netrunner installation on my local hard disk and then I quick wiped with zeroes the free space which was left behind and finally then I did this installation of Debian #testing ,screenfetch: https://yadi.sk/i/xKciTEA9xcNvS .I now intend to keep this installation for some longer time ,especially mainly because the mouse pointer theme is not buggy (corrupted ). I have used for my Budgie desktop session customization resources found at the following addresses : https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1013698/ https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1012430/ https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1153967/

We've got Icon Shadows! :-D Been sweating tears and blood (not really) at figuring out how to give the icons in the dash/dock shadows because I do not want the dock to have a background. Finally tonight I managed to come up with a hack that actually gave me pretty much exactly what I was seeing in my head. Hope you'll enjoy this update as much as I did making it :-)
