This theme looks great, and I wanted to try it. I downloaded it, but can't seem to be able to install it.

Could this be as simple as the fact that I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 (currently beta)? I am running Compiz though.

Just registered in order to give this theme an enthusiastic "GOOD" vote! Love the dot-buttons that light up when you mouse over them, the glossy blue 'n' black color scheme, everything. Thank you!

This Emerald Theme is great i use it all the time you should make something like this in GTK 2.x and some icons o have a theme pack.

This Emerald works great with Moomex Gtk 2.x and Moomex Icons or Docang0.9 Icon Theme

hi, this one looks like a pretty good one, but i dont know how to install it. could you please put here something like a tutor? thx!
i am using hardy and it is downloaded as an .emerald archive. my system then says its not a typical motive.

your theme is really great...there is just one but....

My wife is an AC Milan supporter (Italian football team) their colours are red and black while their worst enemies (Inter Milan) are blue and black.
Your theme reminds a lot of the Inter colours and consequently I have been vetoed to use it.

Is there any chance you will create a similar theme with a red-black flavour?

Why is it when I open a window its always off the screen by a little bit?(Close App Button off Screen) Its never fully maximized? Anyone else having the same problem?

yes, for me it's the same. I don't know what coul be the problem. I like a lot this theme. The boarders could be a little bit thinner though.

Love the fact that this goes with almost any gtk theme just fine.

Looks particularly great with a dark one though.

how do i use the theme?? i got the emerald theme manager, and imported it, but how do i use it after that?

have you open emerald theme manager ang select the theme that you want?
if its not working..change gnome-wm..
/usr/bin/gnome-wm

add this line:

case `basename $WINDOW_MANAGER` in
compiz)
export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1
emerald &
OPT3=ccp

Added lines but won't let me save. Dam permissions! Tried to allow all users to read and write file but still won't let me save.
