Isn't this a lot like my theme?
http://box-look.org/content/show.php/KDE4?content=71528

Everything but the menu seems to be identical. Also, the huge panel isn't the greatest thing for an EEEpc - Aug 27 2008

LOL. It's really a fix of my old one, done by request and because I wanted to. I also have a Mandriva clone that someone requested.

I'll release another original theme soon, I promise :P. - Dec 09 2007

Hi, I went to check up on this theme and noticed it's rated very low compared to the one I submitted to KDE-Look.org

Is there something wrong with the theme package or do people here just have different tastes? - Jul 10 2007

Good work, not sure why everyone is voting you down, I think it's that vista clones are frowned upon here. - Jun 09 2007

Well it's conky actually:
http://conky.sourceforge.net/

To make it look like mine, replace your /home/user/.conkyrc with this:
http://albi.shootdog.com/pictures/.conkyrc

Of course, you can edit it however you like, it's an XML file essentially. - Jun 07 2007
Also, your corners don't seem to display properly. Let me know if this is fixed now. - Jun 07 2007
For the taskbar, you have to be running IceWM as a separate session for that to work, or you can move the KDE taskbar, it might already be showing underneath it.

For the noise, it seems your version of IceWM doesn't support transparency.

Nevertheless, I've implemented a new way of getting around the problem without the need of transparent pixmaps, so it should work now.

Thanks - Jun 07 2007

Unfortunately, I have zero skill in making Emerald themes of any kind. That's not saying I might not do it in the future, just not soon.

However, anyone is free to port this if they wish, as long as they credit me in some way. - May 28 2007
disregard that, you said KARAMBA,

Anyways, same story, it's conky in the screenshot
http://conky.sourceforge.net/

If you wanna know my config for it, I'll post it - May 05 2007
this is actually pure IceWM sry (the theme you see is a GTK theme btw) http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Kore-Gnome?content=55747 - May 05 2007

Hi,
This is Icewm, not gnome. It's posted here because, much like openbox, it's meant as a light-weight replacement for metacity (run icewm --replace metacity).

In the screenshot, however, I'm running IceWM as it's own environment; all you'll see when running it through gnome is the window manager, so if you want the menu, you have to run IceWM as it's own session.

If you're not used to the interface, you can always make it run nautilus at startup, which will give you the gnome desktop - Apr 03 2007

You can do this easily yourself, just open it with gimp, go to tools--->Hue/Saturation, and slide it until it becomes the color you want. - Apr 04 2007
As for the panel, it is designed for 25 pixels, anything bigger than that will stack it it and anything smaller will cut off the bottom. - Oct 24 2006
Sorry about that, seems my second upload didn't go through (I probably hit reset).

Problem fixed now. - Oct 24 2006

You right click, properties, then change background.

The one I used was this:
http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/7466/panel9ul2.png

However, this is if the width is 25 pixels, you can resize the image in gimp to whatever size you want.

Maybe I should release some of these things :) - Apr 03 2007
Icons are listed on p1, but I'll paste here anyways

They're all from various sources, I might submit them later since people are asking for them (although I'm not going to take any credit since I didn't make any of them, only gimped existing ones) In the meantime, here are the imageshack links foe all to enjoy.

lol, well I'm not going to downvote you, but you could actually make this work

all you need is to clean up the edges (find a better ubuntu logo), make it bigger, and make it semi-transparent to the background - Mar 21 2007
