no one can take credit for the Ubuntu logo, except for the person who came up with it originally....

Now if you'd come up with a new design for the logo, that's something else..

All the documentation you have here for compiling is nice, but if it's only going to be in one place, it belongs with the source code, which has very inadequate documentation. Adding this to it, would make a world of difference. - Nov 18 2005
AFAIC, it's the most important icon on there... - Nov 18 2005
You might want to look at an update to the Debian sid package (which like any sid package was out of date a week after it was compiled). I'm running sid and I had to complile from source. I have one question: How do I get an Icon for the Trash on there? Thanks and thanks for an awesome app! - Nov 15 2005

Better documentation would help greatly:

The "generic" instructions in the "INSTALL" file make no sense.

" By default, `make install' will install the package's files in
`/usr/local/bin', `/usr/local/man', etc. You can specify an
installation prefix other than `/usr/local' by giving `configure' the
option `--prefix=PATH'.
"

Well the previous version (available in .deb package form) installs files all over the place. How do I specify where the files should go? - Nov 16 2005

I saved the "After downloading it, move the IcOsX folder to your /usr/share/icons folder (need to be root to do so)." and went to the open the Look and Feel --> Icons" part and installed from there. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the index file info. BTW, here is another link.: http://easylinuxguide.com/downloads/kde-iconthemes/IcOsX-0.7.tar.gz - Nov 14 2005

It's the best GUI for YUM, yet.

It's still not approaching what I'd like to see (a Synaptic clone for YUM) but it's better than anything else out there. I use it regardless of what Desktop environment I'm in, since I always have a minimum of GNOME and KDE installed. - Nov 07 2005

You said: "Added a link to download an alternative Konsole and Xterm Icon - Removing the C: - you guys really do hate Microsoft don't you. " Personally I don't love or hate them, but I'm not using a Microsoft operating system and this theme isn;'t for one either. Therefore, anything that very specifically implies Microsoft is inappropriate. The same is true with themes based Mac OS X or themes that were ported from Mac OS X themes. Many of them are great, but are ruined by the inclusion of the Apple and/or MacOS logos. Why themers need to include stuff like this is beyond me. The rest of these themes looks great. If a logo that represents an OS is necessary at least use appropriate ones. In the case of KDE that would be the "K" logo or even a logo representing Linux or *BSD for example... Those just make sense. Microsoft or Apple logos or specific stuff makes no sense. - Oct 18 2005
