Yes, it fixed it. I set my program to start as:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/lib64/xulrunner-1.9.2 thunderbird %u

(using 64-bit openSUSE 11.4) - Mar 15 2011
I installed the 0.7 version in Thunderbird and set the folder name to 'Thunderbird'. But how can I use it now?

I disabled master password and deleted account's password, but when I say Thunderbird to remember the password, it stores it locally non-encrypted. - Mar 14 2011

Thanks for the tips. Intresting, that installing it with from command line turned out to be success. Anyway.. here's the output:

I use KDE 4.5.0 on openSUSE 11.3. When I try to install the plasmoid, I get the error saying it failed. After that Veromix appears under widgets, but without an icon. It's also under system tray items, but without an icon too and it does not do anything if I activate and enable it.

Any suggestions? - Aug 19 2010

Sorry, I guess the next version should be 0.9 instead - at least I've got 0.9.svn1057339 installed on openSuse and it's been on that version for a while now. - May 26 2010

Some shortcuts would be nice.. especially for 'play' and 'stop' :)

It's a bit annoying to grab the mouse all the time. The most comfortable would be to trigger both of them with space only.. what do you think? - May 10 2009

The weird thing is that the plasmoid doesn't recognize my Amarok 1.4 (which is playing), and will launch Amarok 2.0 when pressing 'play' button.

I'm on OpenSuse 11.0 (with KDE 4.2) and I tried both: the RPM-version (from KDE4 factory buildservice) and the version provided by Vytax, which compiled and installed OK, contrary to the official source. - May 10 2009

Thanks for pointing it out. I didn't know (or rather hadn't thought about it) that KMess is actively developed (it had seemed quite halted in the past) and gets ported to KDE4.
Just tried it and it seems pretty nice indeed :) - Nov 11 2008

I've used AmarokFS a few times on FreeBSD (it's in ports tree). I don't use OSD in Amarok, but AmarokFS always enables it when quitting. I tried disabling the "disable OSD" option, but it didn't have any effect, so it seems that AmarokFS enables OSD upon quit no matter what the option was before.

Could you please fix it? :) - Sep 11 2007

The "Change song on startup" would be nice next to "Play random track on startup". Its function would be the same as pressing Next before starting playing, so I can use my queues, random track settings etc.

Right now I can choose only to play random song on startup, but not play the whole queue etc. Sure I can do it by editing my playlist, but doing it every time before going to bed wouldn't really be an easy task (because maybe I don't want my daily playlist to be the same as wakeup-playlist).

What do you think? :) - Jul 06 2007

I've got a feature/option proposal :)

It would be nice if there was possibility to choose whether Amarok will play any (random) track on alarm or some certain track.

I.e. if I have my usual playlist in Amarok and I'd like Amarok to surprise me in the morning, I'd set Amarok to play "Random: tracks" and check option "Change track before playing" in WeekAlarm, so I'd get random track in the morning.

If I'd like Amarok to play some certain track, I'd leave the option unchecked, so that Amarok would continue from where it was; or I'd check the option and add some track into queue.

What do you think of that? :) - Jan 24 2007

There's how to install KGuitar on FreeBSD :)

  • fetch and unpack kguitar.*.tbz2

  • install tse3 for MIDI support:
    # cd /usr/ports/audio/tse3 && make install clean

  • cd to kguitar-*

  • replace "../libtool" and "$(top_builddir)/libtool" with /usr/local/bin/libtool in admin/*.in and *.m4 files:
    # sed -i .orig -e "s/\.\.\/libtool/\/usr\/local\/bin\/libtool/g" -e "s/\$(top_builddir)\/libtool/\/usr\/local\/bin\/libtool/g" admin/*.in *.m4

  • configure:
    # ./configure --with-extra-includes=/usr/local/include --with-extra-libs=/usr/local/lib

  • make and install:
    # gmake install

Anybody want to make a port? :) - Oct 31 2006

i tried to make these cursors, but it seems it doesn't work on FreeBSD (5.3) :(

at first i got
./left-handed_templates/ 12: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

after removing "function" from beginning of the line, it did some converting and stuff and then said:
Adjusting: ./watch.conf
make -C blue_src
Error expanding embedded variable.
*** Error code 2

Stop in /mydir_blabla/Crystalcursors.

whay should i do now? i'd really like to try these cursors.
