This theme is great. i am using it now for a week and i love it. but would be an update possibleif you have time? I think the menus need some word. they are just white. how about an other colour? - May 03 2009

When will there be an update? - Apr 18 2009
Thanks for the update!
this wallpaper fits so nicely to your sugarUbuntu-theme: - Mar 31 2009
Hmmm... I am not sure because i am no designer. But you should not destroy it by making mac-ish buttons. They are enough of theme on gnome-look. Your theme is very elegant but the buttons of the metacity are tooooo minimalistic. how about a little glow when clicking on it? maybe something into this direction:

there is one thing too: the text over ther progressbar is black and the progressbar is darkbrown (ubuntu-version). that means the text is hardly readable. maybe the text should be brighter.

thanks for your nice theme and i wonder why it is still not top 5 in gnome-look. - Mar 31 2009
I am using the sugarUbuntu-version and i love it. Only the buttons of the metacity could get some improvement.
thanks for making our desktops beautiful! - Mar 28 2009

i know its nearly perfect, but will there be any update in the next time? - Mar 02 2009
i was able to sent your theme to the mailing-list of the ubuntu-artwork-theme. i hope it works and it reaches them. i am sure they will like it.

here i showed them your theme too, but no one answers...

i will tell you, when someone of the mailing-list answers!
bababoss - Feb 19 2009
well... ehm... to be honest: i dont know how to contribute your work to the wiki of the ubuntu-artwork-team. i am really stupid when it is about technical things. is there someone who could do that? COULD SOMEONE SHOW THIS THEME TO THE UBUNTU-ARTWORK-TEAM??? - Feb 10 2009
ah almost forgot: if you give me your email, i could make some nice desktop-screenshots you could post on the ubuntu-artwork-site i showed you. - Feb 10 2009
Please post your human-theme here:

the ubuntu-artwork-team would be very stupid if they dont use your human-theme for the coming ubuntu jaunty jackalope. for the artwork-deadline is still one week and your theme seems to have no bugs at all. please post it! a lot of ubuntu-users would be happy to see such a modern theme as the ubuntu-default! - Feb 10 2009
using your human-theme with this mitacity:

and with the elementary-human-icon-theme it is just PERFECT!!! THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS THEME!

a pic of my desktop: - Jan 23 2009
well the old color was the best, but if i had the choice from the colours from you recommended, than i think this one was the best of them: #e6dbcf
but it has a sooooooooft pink touch. thats the negativ about it. - Jan 23 2009
what happend to the window-color in the human-version? the old one was muuuuuuuuuch better. this is just gray and feels much colder - Jan 22 2009
no its perfect now. looking forward to your next update.
you are right, there is no need for an other engine.
thanks for this theme! - Jan 12 2009
ok, i did it! and YES it looks better than white now. BUT one question: you know murrine-svn and is it possible to make the menu glossy too? or some other effects? gradients? - Jan 12 2009
the menus are white at the moment. maybe i am using the wrong term... i mean when u click on "applications" or "places" on the panel for example, it opens a white menu. the highlights in there are perfect but the colour of the menu itself needs to be changed. it is just white. i hope you can understand my bad english. - Jan 12 2009
glad to see the old highlights back. looking awesome! thanks for this beautiful theme. hope you will still work on it and make some improvements to the white menus.
using the human-version and my desktop never looked so modern and cool!;) - Jan 12 2009
to the human-theme: the old crystal-looking highlights in the menus looked much better. but the white in the menus have to be changed. i am sorry. maybe i was not clear enough. baaad english:( the problem of the menus are their colour white. it doesnt fit at all with the rest of the theme. the old highlights were perfect. hope yyou will change them back (or make them even better if possible;)) - Jan 10 2009
well, i think the menus definetly shouldnt be just white. especially when you use the colour for the windows i showed you (#E6DFCF). at the moment the human-theme is toooo bright.
the menus should be darker than the windows or have the same colour. i dont know if it is possible with murrine-svn, but gradients in the menu would fit better to the very modern rest of the theme. - Jan 10 2009
now it is perfect! i still prefer this colour for the windows of the human-version: #E6DFCF
it makes it more special. not too bright.

the only thing now that would need some change are the menus. they look too boring. dont know what new is possible with the murrine-svn, but you are the artist. looking forward to next release;) - Jan 10 2009
looking forward to it!;)
thank u very much! - Jan 09 2009
almost forgot. here you can see how beautiful your theme looks with brown-colours: - Jan 09 2009

Ok i understand this. but can i give you a colour-scheme which is ubuntu-ish? i cant change the code of the theme because i am no programmer. but i think you could easily make a copy you your beautiful theme with this colours i am using at the moment:
for the windows: #E6DFCF
for elected things: #996B5C

only the menu would look a bit boring because it is standart white, but the rest would look very nice for people who like the ubuntu-colours. a lot of people would appreciate it. thanks for your beautiful theme!!! - Jan 09 2009
how about a version with ubuntu-colours? this theme is very beautiful but it reminds a lot of people to much to mac os X. this theme in ubuntu-colours would be very cool!!! - Jan 04 2009
its very kind from you to make and upload this package. thank you very much for that, but it is still not working. it cant be installed. :( - Jan 01 2009
the package isnt working for me:(

i like your theme very much. thanks for this! one question:
when i try to copy your theme as root into usr/share/themes it wont work. why is that so? is there a possibility to install your theme system-wide? - Jan 06 2009

I like your theme a lot. especially your metacity-theme.

on the ubuntu-artwork-site i found this:

i like it a lot, but i think your metacity-theme would make it perfect. at the moment your metacity is to bright to fit to dust. so could you make a darker one that fits exactly to the dust-theme-color? that would be very cool! the orange when you slide over your metacity-buttons could be a bit darker then. pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaseeeeee make one for dust!!! pleaaaaseee!!!
thank yoooooooouuuuuuuuuu - Sep 01 2008

i like your theme very much. i am using it at the moment. but i think the progressbar should get a more glossy look. the scrollbar also. i think it would look more complete because the buttons are already glossy but progressbar is still cartoonish. what do you think? - Jan 05 2009
have you seen the scrollbars of the murrineCrystal-theme? would something like this be possible in orange with your theme? i think it could look very impressive - Jan 03 2009
the new colour-scheme is beautiful!!! but maybe the scrollbar should look more modern. it looks too much cartoonish i think.
but overall a very nice theme. my default at the moment;) - Jan 03 2009

i am using your icons with the newest update of dust and it looks veeeeeeery sexy! but what do you think of a version that fits better with die color-scheme of dust? maybe a bit more brown? many people would be happy to see a brown/orange-version.

THANKS for this great icon-set!!! - Sep 21 2008

yes i copied it in the themes folder. after this did not work i installed it with the appearance-manager but even then it didnt work. all other metacity-themes are installed without problems. i dont know what the problem could be. i am sure this theme would look perfect with the dust-theme but i cant test it:( - Aug 31 2008
it works on your linux? do you use ubuntu? - Aug 30 2008
i really would like to use this with the dust-theme if the colour fits, but it doesnt work on ubuntu 8.04.1
