OK, but we've no choice ! Why not choose a neutral languague such as esperanto that is easier to learn ?

I think it is not necessary to create a kde-app.fr and duplicate all the great works achieve by admins, and duplicate too the places for uploading and updating contents. So please, let author add a translation in addition of english text :-) - Jun 22 2007
On Kubuntu, this problem doesn't exist with the power of kio and network protocol transparency.
This problem is Gnome-specific, and would be quite useless under KDE distros ;-)
But, interesting for Gnome user :-) - Jun 21 2007
Please, keep correct !
I'm french, and it's a pain to learn english to communicate with the world ! I hope that one day, an alternative language will be adopted (esperanto …).

« Stupid » ? Everybody *must* learn english, but are english stupid ? No.

Your post is stupid, dude !
And look attentively at the complete description to find english sentences.

I actually use tellico, and I think you should take at look at it if you don't know it.
Your soft is only dedicated to bib entry management, that is an advantage. But many feature of tellico are very very usefull, as the possibility to dispaly an additionnal tree view that groups entries by any existing field (including keywords). - Jun 19 2006

huhuhu

thanks a lot for your feedback !

For groland, this is easy to add it, just open the UI file with QTdesigner, add a button, add a slot function similar to those for zapping and guignols, fill the function body by editing the ui.h file (always in qtdesigner, right-click -> source ...), plug the button signal to this slot, and run pyuic.

I could do it if you give me an url sample.

I would use the small app to write a tuto, because it's very simple and python-{kde,qt,dcop} offers more capabilities than kdialog and kommander. - Mar 09 2006

In addition the script "encodeRename.sh" need a modification. Just before the last instruction (mv), insert "[ -d $old ] && cd .." - Oct 31 2005
Why enable this servicemenu only for files ? Rename directory could be usefull. Just replace all/allfiles by all/all in changeFilenameCode.desktop - Oct 31 2005

Can anyone dump the list of functions please ? - Aug 10 2005
As arnehe, I use tellico for my bitex ref management, and my most wanted feature is the ability to import a ref (in bibtex or ris format for example) when tellico is running.

Since a recent release, it is possible to do this job by starting tellico with an option to import a file. But if tellico is still running !?

A good solution is to use the DCOP bus :-) I have a dream that some day I could type and script :
dcop tellico tellico import /tmp/Grimm1999.bib
or
dcop tellico tellico exportBibtex /home/me/Documents/thesis/biblio.bib

One more time, thank you very much for your work ! - Dec 06 2004
2. It's done by a XSL translation.
You can change the xsl used in the template panel of configuration dialog. You can too create your own xsl (or modify an existing), look at /usr/share/apps/bookcase/entry-templates/Fancy.xsl. - Sep 03 2004

Hi

the --icon and --miniicon options doesn't work. I've tried to replace %i and %m by the string "kjobviewer", but it doesn't work anymore.
Furthermore, %i equals to "-icon kjobviewer /home/dumoulin/print.pdf" and %m to "-miniicon kjobviewer /home/dumoulin/print.pdf"

(/home/dumoulin/print.pdf is the file I used for tests)

But it's ok without the icons
