when I ported over an old windows theme with decgen 0.5, I noticed often (not always) the images were displayed in a blueish hue, instead of the original colour. what causes this?

hm, I downgraded to 2.0 and that worked, seems a 2.1 problem.

wow, I just have to say, this looks beautiful, the rubberband is gorgeous, so are the rounded selections, and the sidebar? drool-o-rama :)
Very nice to see something other than the wishes, and kudos^10 to the debmaker.
You just made my day, installing this...You guys rock! - Nov 12 2004

Dude, this is way cool. I'm soo sick and tired of converted, crappy win themes.
Original themes have finally begun to pop up here (I know there have been some in the past, but none to my liking)
Thanks dude - Jul 27 2004

well, should look like this or not, the obvious solution would be scriptable, themeable, customizeable...
I think this ss looks kinda nice, but there's always someone who keeps making better and better ideas, maybe someone makes a login manager theme with noia icons so I, who stopped using crystal when they became off. part of KDE (grew tired :), can also have a unified desktop.
Win XP has, although via extension apps like ...erm...don't remeber the name anymore... so the login manager can be customized, but not all that much really, I'm sure the KDE community could do better, and without the extra extension app to boot :D
2c into the river anyways... - Nov 24 2003

I use the suse gfx-boot lilo under debian. just a matter of downloading and alien'ing them.
Oh, and I think you should drop the text, or at least change the look of it.
otherwise it look good. thinking of animating it?
maybe the fat penguin can walk over the top of the window to indicate the timer?

This is definately the hard way!
This is the easy way:
add
deb http://kde.ping.uio.no/i386 ./
to /etc/apt/sources.list run apt-get update as root, and just apt-get install whatever you need :) (notice that these are also experimental debs, but they work fine for me. for other mirrors and readmes, check out irc.debian.org and read the topic on #debian-kde ) - Jun 25 2002
