Thanks for the feedback. I didn't like the progress bars either - So I fixed them! :) Along with a few other bugs. - Jul 10 2009

This theme is really good. There's too many Vista themes, and the only XP theme I could ever find was the "eXperience" one, which required its very own GTK engine. So this one's cool cuz it uses a more common GTK engine (my yum repo has it waiting to install!)

Could you make one that uses the Zune theme's widgets? (google: zune theme). If not I could probably use this theme as a base for it. - Mar 03 2009

The buttons are that big on the real Zune theme too. I basically created this by taking screenshots and cut-and-pasting things.

If Razor2 is a theme for WinXP I could probably roll out a Metacity clone in no time by doing the same thing. - Feb 20 2008

I don't see how you figure that Windows has any difference in rounded borders than this one does. I obtained all these graphics by taking screenshots of my Windows desktop and made everything that wasn't a part of the window borders be transparent.

See for yourself, go into Windows, take a screenshot of a Luna-themed window, go back to Linux, and compare the screenshot with the graphics in the Lunacity set, they'll be exactly the same. Any discrepencies in "roundness", I'd say, is a bug with your Metacity engine, because the actual PNG files should and do match up perfectly with real Windows windows. - Sep 16 2007
Yeah, what happened was I have these generic download pages for all the files on my site, for source codes, binaries, and font files, and didn't make one specifically for GPL downloads. Regardless, I had gnome-look link to these pages to guage how often the particular Metacity themes were downloaded.

At any rate, now that I know, the files are just hosted on gnome-look now. :) - Sep 10 2007
I mentioned in the description I was using a modified Linsta 3. Linsta 3 comes with blue panels, you just have to modify the files to tell it to use them (but it doesn't have a suitable blue panel for "pushed-in" taskbar buttons, so I used the gray one in the screenshot... I've since made my own graphic for it). - Aug 12 2007
You could have just searched "gnome-look.org" for "start button"

It turned up this result, which, iirc is where I got that start button from:

I found it on Google... not sure exactly where. But this download is just for the Metacity theme, not GTK+, so I didn't think to include the start button.

The GTK+ theme in the screenshot is a modified version of Linsta3. - Aug 01 2007

What Metacity theme is that in the screenshots? It looks like the Zune theme from Windows XP. - Aug 01 2007

It's nice to see that those Luna pixmap rips are being put to some good use (besides just as a Metacity theme). :) Good job. - Aug 01 2007
