I know it's not a license but that seemed like a logical place to put the trademark notice. Unless you, in your endless genius, have a better place to put it. Which I'm sure you have, after all you will analyze my every word looking for something that you can prove me wrong on. - Sep 13 2007
Try trademarked. Don't treat the english language as kids play. I've changed the license so you can go looking for someone else to harass. Thanks. - Aug 27 2007

Ok I get how the "Son" thing is to make you seem superior to me, it's a lame attempt. Now to the point..

People referring to themselves as being extremely smart or intelligent are often the most stupid people I've ever met. That assumption have never proved me wrong and you, Sir, have been added to the list.

Now to my second point..
I don't really think you're a busy developer considering you have enough time to search for the keyword "Vista" on gnome-look.org and then attempt to bully whatever people you find, making you look like a small child (that includes crying and yelling when people disagree with you). You're not acting your age and it makes you look pathetic.

I, on the other hand, am in the age when I can do whatever the fuck I want and it will not make me a child nor an adult. I suggest you go see a counseler to fix that little problem of yours.

Best regards, and good luck!

Dude, I said GNU/Linux can do gaming but if you don't agree, buy a PS3. Sounds logic to me, who's the rambling idiot now? - Jun 02 2007
So.. :)
You really did think my second wallpaper was for real?

It was friggin a joke, just proves you are not as smart as you think you are.

Besides, the ones giving Linux a bad reputation is definetly the ones that don't even use it, like you.

Thing is, you can do everything, if not more, with a GNU/Linux distro than you ever could with Windows. So I'm sorry, you don't make any sense at all.

That gaming bs is just the worst argument ever. If you're such a gamer, save some money and buy a video game console. It will be cheaper than upgrading your computer every six months to keep up with the games.

And I said THAT cause you imply Linux is not good enough for games. That's also a lame argument, which btw is not true at all. - May 29 2007
"If you think I must use Windows for games or otherwise"

Did I ever say that you must use Windows for games? Think it was someone else.

So I guess you failed there, Mr Danish guy.

I've pointed out that you could play games just as well on GNU/Linux if you wanted to. If you don't like Linux then buy a PS3. Why are you using Linux btw? Considering you'd rather use Windows. - May 29 2007

How about the Apple ads then. Apparently they've increased sales for Apple. Are you saying they're not bad mouthing Vista?

As for all of you saying this is bad artwork, when did I say it was art?

So this boils down to you people using Windows for gaming and because of that you get offended. Why not just buy a PS3 if you want to play games?

I don't really like the "dual-boot" philosophy:
"I have to use a pirated copy of Windows to play my pirated games"

Cause we all know that no one who uses Windows for games buys either the operating system nor the games. I don't like being illegal, maybe that's why I don't agree with your philosophy.

Flame all you want, prove me I'm wrong. I just think it's hypocrisy to use GNU/Linux and free software/open source programs, thinking they're great, but at the same time thinking Windows is really great. - May 29 2007

Maybe I'm just saying that it sucks cause I think it does suck. I want to remind people to not use it.

Just look at FSF with their badvista.org site. It _IS_ necessary to badmouth Vista to make people realize how much it sucks.

So I guess you're happy with the current situation. MS waving patents around, trying to scare companies from migrating to free software. I'm not happy with that situation at all. - May 29 2007
Don't get me wrong. I really don't care about this wallpaper. But!
You guys giving bad votes just proved yourselves Windows-lovers.

Hi
There are lots of tutorials on how to create this effect. Most are for GIMP but the methods can mostly be used with Inkscape as well. I'm actually not that happy with my results either.

Just open the svg's in Inkscape and you'll see they're pretty basic. - May 29 2007

Yeah about that, I tried to make a realistic spin but at a certain degree the ball gets really distorted so I decided to not have that part. If you know any way to fix it, you're free to help.

I will look into it tho, but I don't think there's much I can do about it. - May 04 2007
So it was a little slow huh? Ah well :P

You'll have to recompile that cursor but it's easy. First of all find the watch.in file. Open it in a text-editor.

To the right on every line it will say 15, just lower that value a bit. Then you will have to go to that folder in a Terminal and type: 'xcursorgen watch.in watch', copy the watch file to the directory with the already installed cursors and replace the old file. You may have to log out and log in again for it to have any effect.

Hope that helps! - May 04 2007
That's the OsX_MoD icon theme. Lot's of changes has already been made and will most likely be included in the next version. I'm _not_ the author of OsX_MoD.

Besides those icons have nothing to do with this theme so I don't see a reason to complain about them. - Apr 16 2007

Finally a theme with the original beach ball. Thx.

It's been a while since I used OS X but I gave it a thought and figured, do the cursors really have shadows in OS X? Guess I'll update my recompile of jaguarx theme and change that or something.

Some might argue that shadows make it look better but I don't really think so. - May 04 2007

Instead of putting a thumbnail in the middle of a large white background you should just use GIMP on the original wallpap and > Image > Scale image. And then scale it down, save it in jpg for low filesize.

yeah, I'll have to agree with you on that point. the location of the icons we're talking about is: OsX_MoD/scalable/stock/gtk-go-back-ltr.png
OsX_MoD/scalable/stock/gtk-go-back-rtl.png
and so on

btw ferlip instead of copying the icons you could make symbolic links to those icons instead. that would decrease the size of the theme. - Apr 24 2007

Why are the tar.gz icons and tar.bz2 icons blurry but not the rar icon which is pretty much identical to the others?

It's my only complaint on this otherwise great icon set!
