thanks - please do not misunderstand - I am not requesting anything for KDE3 - I just said in KDE3 there was an app to print multiple pdf's which is missing in KDE4
- Aug 27 2010
this was such a nice feature in KDE3
now I have to go to the command line to print 30 or pdf
any chance to get this into this utility? - Aug 24 2010

phone 1. asks for password which has 2. to be entered on the computer - Jan 19 2009
I have installed 0.3 on OpenSuSE 11.1 and adapter is found
apparently the phone is already somewhere
I can select it in the "send" option
but then the phone asks for a password - I forgot / do not find any more
IMHO it would be useful to be able to show - and delete - existing devices. - Jan 19 2009

in /usr/local it didn't find the "kpart"

same here - IMHO does not look into ../kde35/lib64 in x86_64 systems

* great solution
* some of the "all options" need more explanation
(Speed?, scan speed? )
* checking/setting Permission for usb scanners (similar to k3b).
On SuSE 10.2 I had to manualy adapt /etc/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/80-scanner.fdi, and to restart haldaemon to get permissions to acces my scanner.
using /usr/sbin/lsusb to find the appropriate numbers.
this is not a task for normal "users". - Oct 08 2007

Hi!
the libs install in /usr/local/lib instead of /usr/local/lib64
IMHO this should be autodedected.

firefoxqs-0.1.2
Hi it seems that firefoxqs and kmail / kwalletmanager autostart do not fit well together.
firefoxqs seems to hide the passworddialogwindow. kmail hangs and can't be started any more.
Only during shutdown the wallet-password dialog window pops up again - without borders - waiting for input
starting firefoxqs AFTER kmail/kwalletmanager all seems to work fine. - Sep 03 2007

Hi!
I just discovered that strigi indexes my .beagle directory.
IMHO it should be possible to exclude directories
BTW
it looks like that also the hidden directories are automatically indexed, so there is no need to define
~ (home)
and
~/.evolution (and others) - May 31 2007

strigi 0.5.1
the daemon issues messages
'' is not a UTF8 or latin1 string
or
' Flten - und Klaviermusik der Romantik' is not a UTF8 or latin1 string
IMHO it would be useful to know the filename to be able to correct the problem. - May 30 2007

I have removed all libstreamanalyzer files - same error.
BTW also SuSE strigi.rpm 0.5.1 provides AND requires libstreamanalyzer.so.0 as well as libstreams.so.0 files - so it might be a sort of self reference ? - May 05 2007

I get a very big number - about 500.000 words in some 80.000 documents?
IMHO it's very unlikely that this are the "unique" words but depends on what is counted as unique...

great improvment !

what I really like is that the menu is sort of static - it opens as it was closed.
1) the searched word is only shown after the results are found.
IMHO the typed letters should be displayed immediately.
2) the search results should be displayed in an "OPEN" tree, or at least a button should open all branches. - Apr 07 2007

just wondering what and who decides which apps are shown in
* most used apps
* recent apps
some of them I didn't know at all before seeing them in the search result. - Sep 25 2006

3.0.
after finding a chapter/page in the search tab, clicking on this page should (optionaly?) search for the search term in this page.
currently the search term has to be copied in the search field on top and the search has to be executed manualy.
BTW searching for substrings would be great too. - Mar 14 2007

* search for apps like in SuSE 10.1?
