It's so frustrating something that I want installed on my KDE so badly is also so monumentally difficult to install for someone that is not familiar with Linux. (Getting unexplained errors every step of the way also does not help). I've followed multiple tutorials on how to get this installed and none of them explain enough to actually get me anywhere. Most did not even explain that I actually had to get git and cmake myself. - Dec 15 2011

For some strange reason, the script choices are now working. Odd. It wasn't working for almost half a week! Either way, I thank you very much for your help! :) - Jan 26 2011
1. Yes, I've tried that. And yes, the command is ""Now I'll start the recovery script. Type any key to continue.". After this it crashes.

2. ".AwOkenrc" is not in my Home. I've tried showing hidden files, it's not there.

3. How do I update it? (If it's not 1.6)

4. /usr/share/icons/AwOken
*************************************************************************
Initial settings that come with 1.6 version
*************************************************************************
Select an iconset type to modify.
1) Clear version
2) Dark version
3) Quit
What iconset you want to customize? 1
You choose: Clear version
Now I'll run customization script for clear version.
*************************************************************************
/usr/share/icons/AwOken
*************************************************************************
Customization script for AwOken icon set. Current Release: 1.6

Please consider a small donation (1$ goes a long way) via PayPal to 'alecive87@gmail.com'
*************************************************************************
Installation directory: /usr/share/icons/AwOken -> installation type: PPA. Good choice.
*************************************************************************
Select an option from below, typing the number of your choice:
1) Something went wrong? Choose this option!
2) TAKE A LOOK AT THE README PDF (with installation and customization instructions)
3) Configure the set
4) Recover configuration options from previous installations
5) Quit this script
Wich option do you prefer? 3
You choose: Configure the set
Now I'll run configuration script
*************************************************************************
CONFIGURATION SCRIPT
This part is still under testing, so it's more than welcome any detection of any bug you'd find.
My mail is 'alecive87@gmail.com'

*************************************************************************
I'm using this path for iconset in configuration process: /usr/share/icons/AwOken
*************************************************************************
Now I'll start the configuration process. If there is a file called /home/adrian/.AwOkenrc, I'll use it to configure the set in the way you want. If not, I'll ask you some simple questions to create one.
Configuration file already exists.
Now I'll modify the configuration file located in /home/adrian/.AwOkenrc.
*************************************************************************
What kind of folder type do you prefer? (Type the number of your choice)
1) dark 9) s11
2) gray 10) s11-original
3) metal 11) classy
4) tlagdark 12) sonetto
5) tlaglight 13) snowsabre
6) token 14) grain
7) violet 15) See icons before choosing them
8) white
folder_type? 12
Your choice was: sonetto
*************************************************************************
What kind of start here icon do you prefer? I'll not show all 84 options, but if you want I'll open a nautilus window to see them. Do you want this (y/[n])?
n
Now type the name of the icon of choice.
WARNING: type only the last part of the icon before file extension!! For example, type 'gaia2' or 'centos' or 'arch4'
start_here?mint2
Your choice was mint2
*************************************************************************
What kind of trash icon do you prefer? (Type the number of your choice)
1) trash1 4) trash4
2) trash2 5) See icons before choosing them
3) trash3
trash_type? 2
Your choice was: trash2
*************************************************************************
Do you want colored applications or greyish apps? (Type the number of your choice)
1) color
2) no-color
color_type? 2
Your choice was: no-color
*************************************************************************
Last three questions (I incorporate them in one question): change gedit icon, home icon and computer icon.
For each option, type the number of your choice, as above. Name that ends with 1 is the colored version, name that ends with 2 is the grayish version.
1) gedit1 3) See icons before choosing them
2) gedit2
gedit_type? 2
Your choice was: gedit2
1) computer1 4) computer4
2) computer2 5) computer5
3) computer3 6) See icons before choosing them
computer_type? 2
Your choice was: computer2
1) home1 4) home4
2) home2 5) home5
3) home3 6) See icons before choosing them
home_type? 2
Your choice was: home2
*************************************************************************
Configuration process is finished. Notice that until now script has changed only main options. Do you want to run other options of the customize.sh file? (y/[n])
n
*************************************************************************
Now I'll start the recovery script. Type any key to continue.

5. Do do I do this? Sorry, I'm not used to working with this sort of stuff.

Thanks for the help, though! - Jan 21 2011
The customization script gets to the "press any key" point, flies through some stuff at extremely high speeds, then crashes.

Sorry, I'm not very literate in this sort of thing, but that basically describes what happened. The text is so fast I can't even read it. I've tried every fix that has been posted in the comments and none of them work.

Although I won't be using it myself, I must say it's very nice looking. There are many GnoMenu themes that are cluttered or disorganized, but yours is the exception. Nice! - Jan 17 2011

I apologize for being so vague. Ok, here is the problem. I've installed the screenlet, setup the Calender in Google, got the Python package, and put my information into the calender. It displays the Date but none of my entered events. - May 28 2010
I seem to be unable to have it show events from my Google account. Is there anything I might need to do prior to using this? - May 27 2010

Looks good and simple.
However, it's a more orangy color of red. I think it would look better as a darker red. - Apr 01 2010

Looks very nice so far.
Needs something though... can't put my finger on it.

Maybe a thin white gradient on the titlebar? I'm not sure. - Mar 18 2010
