Also I don't know if you are aware of this but Arch is in a transition of KDE to the new frame works as stated here:
I don't know if this maybe the problem or not as I don't know how far along the transition is.

Thanks for your help.

And again any help you can render would be greatly appreciated. - May 29 2015
I've tried both versions 1.1 and 0.7.0
The boost versions are:1.58.0-1 for boost and boost-libs.
Cmake completes successfully, but make fails with

Linking CXX executable kcmsystemdhelper
/bin/sh: -c: line 0: unexpected EOF while looking for matching ``'
/bin/sh: -c: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
src/helper/CMakeFiles/kcmsystemdhelper.dir/build.make:113: recipe for target 'src/helper/kcmsystemdhelper' failed
make[2]: *** [src/helper/kcmsystemdhelper] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:243: recipe for target 'src/helper/CMakeFiles/kcmsystemdhelper.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [src/helper/CMakeFiles/kcmsystemdhelper.dir/all] Error 2
Makefile:126: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2

The results of running:ldconfig -v |grep boost_file are:
ldconfig: Path `/usr/lib' given more than once
ldconfig: Path `/usr/lib64' given more than once
ldconfig: Can't stat /usr/libx32: No such file or directory ->

High I've just stumbled upon this great software, well hope it great, the pictures look good but I am unable to get it to load on my system.
The following error constantly comes up when attempting to load this software.

Can not load library /usr/lib/kde4/ can not open shared object file.) No such file or directory. I tried the arch install both from here and from the arch repo to no avail it still fails to load.
Any help you can render would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. - May 28 2015

Is this great program ever going to be fixed?
Is it still being developed by anyone or is it just left to wither on the dev fine?

Sure there is always gparted, but why on a pure KDE system?

I get the same errors that everyone else is getting since parted is at v3...

I even tried building it against parted v2.4 and it still will not build.

The other suggestion to use the svn build is worthless and does not work at all and can not find any disks on my system.

Help this was a great program!!! - Mar 14 2013

OK, that fixed the build problem, but now when I run it it says the configuration file has the wrong permissions and pops up a couple of error dialogs and finally grays out the window for this addon in system setting.

I was able to build the older version which worked flawlessly on my old system.

So what do I need to do to fix the errors. I really don't know what file it's talking about but I believe it is talking about grub.cfg.

I really liked this app, hope there's a fix for it.

Thanks for your response on how to get it to build. - Mar 19 2012
I'm trying to build this package on Fedora 17 and it keeps failing when I run make.
Here is the error that make fails with:

/usr/src/kcmgrub2-1.3/helper/helper.cpp:25:27: error: ‘chdir’ was not declared in this scope

and shows the following 2 errors:

make[2]: *** [helper/CMakeFiles/kcmgrub2helper.dir/helper.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [helper/CMakeFiles/kcmgrub2helper.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Any help to get this working would be greatly appreciated.

My system is an x86_64 system. I've installed it through apper and fedora repos but when it tries to update it fails with a file conflict between an i686 and x86_64 file conflict!

Please help!
