Thank you for your comment! - May 03 2007
Something ironic? Do you have any problems to reproduce the screenshot on your desktop with the theme content? - Oct 22 2005
You are right, the design is not created with respect to usability. It is more a creativ early version for a few people.

More will coming soon (icons, a win-deco... perhabs), but the main feeling will not be changed. The very similar look of the icons is a part of the global feeling of the theme in my opinion. - Jun 25 2005

What do you need for GTK? I am using GIMP. It is the only one GTK application I use and a theme for GIMP is hard work.

Which GTK apps you are using? I am happy about every return!

Thank you for the comment!

Your Theme does not contain a preview!

It may be nice to add a preview image "keramic.preview.png" in the directory. For users it may may be nice to see a preview, for developers it may be nice to have a correct template. - Jul 16 2004

I am not discouraged about the low rating. I know: "People are feeling blue" (and like most the WINDOWS XP style ???).

The color schema is not a misstake! It has the feeling, I wanted to show. The "outdated" icons are a contrast to actually used icons over all systems (WINDOWS, KDE, GNOME, Apple ...). The main feeling is ok. But I am not comfortable with all my icons. It is a hard job. I have to notify the great job of Everaldos "Crystal SVG" or the "Noia" icon set.

I am happy about all the returns!

Forgot the stuff written above. After running "install.sh" the wallpaper are extracted and the color schema is installed. Sorry, I did not remember may own stuff.

The "Look and feel" window you will find in "kcontrol". Start the Control Center "kcontrol" and change the language to english. Restart the control center and now you may see the section "Look and feel".

Without a theme manager you have to change the desktop wallpaper. Use the wallpaper "bk_subway_desktop_x.jpg". And you have to change the color schema. Use the color schema "bk_berlin_subway".

Hope it is correct now.

Use the desktop theme "Berlin - subway station "Suedstern" for KDE 3.2, it is aviable here too, section "Themes for KDE 3.2". It may be used without theme manager.

Or you may unpack the desktop theme file.
It is the file "bk_berlin_subway.ktheme" in the archiv. Use "tar -xzf bk_berlin_subway.ktheme" for this job. A new directory is created and this directory contains the desktop wallpaper and the .rc-file. Open the .rc-file with a text editor, copy the section [colors] to a new file and save this new file as a color schema. Now you may change the desktop wallpaper and the color schema using "kcontrol". (It is more easy, use version for KDE 3.2 ;-) ).

Are you using SuSe 9.0? - Apr 15 2004

I use the applet called "Schnellstarter" (german, english something like "fast starter" ??? I do not know exactly).

You may get the applet by right-click on the control bar and add the applet. You may add or remove programs from the K-menu to the applet. The program icons you are shown with 16x16 pixel stacked.

Hope it will help you. - Jan 29 2004
After choosing the theme in the design manager you have to start the window decoration manager (settings -> look and feel -> windows decoration), choose the decoration IceWM and configure the IceWM with the theme "Paintings_by_...).

I do not know, how to integrate this settings in the design. May be, someone would help me! - Nov 11 2002
