I sent you a message. - Feb 08 2011
Hi,
thanks for updated version. However, I found these 2 issues:
First when you add stop, you type, it adds correct stops to the list, everything OK except when you press arrow down to move to some item on the bottom. It immediately selects the first from the list.

Second, I don't know why, but when using the Czech CHAPS provider in city Brno and stop name Technologický park, I'm getting "No departures" in the plasmoid.

Can you check it please? - Feb 05 2011

Thank you very much. I will just wait for the next release. - Jan 17 2011
Hi,
can you please check if the http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz/ provider for Czech republic works? It does not update data for me. I have Brno as a city and the stop name is Technologický park. It loaded them initially, but not even manual update works.

Thanks - Jan 12 2011
Hi, i'm writing from the new KDE 4.3 and it's really working properly now, i mean the resizing. - Aug 04 2009
I will give it a try as soon as 4.3 is in Arch repos.

I must admit i didn't try localized KDE since 3.5, so i offered to translate the applet, but it's good if it already is. - Jul 30 2009
And another idea, maybe it's time to start considering localization of the applet. I'm more than willing to translate it to Slovak language for example. - Jul 29 2009
Oh man, what am i writing?

By resizing issue i mean, i cannot resize the applet only vertically, because it also resizes itself horizontally and vice versa. - Jul 29 2009
It's important not to make it too big in panel version. So only the most important data should be displayd. Like you say, maybe little icon and time.

By resizing issue i meant, i cannot only resize itself vertically, because it resizes also horizontally and vice versa. Does it happen only to me? KDE 4.2 - Jul 29 2009
It's certainly better. It's up to fpuelz's decision. - Jul 29 2009
Oh, i see:) Well, then i'd suggest moving it to separate field, IMHO it's confusing to have it mixed with cities. - Jul 28 2009
Hi,
thanks for the new release.

Fonts and colors are so much better now.
However resizing applet is very impractical now, why is stretching height fixed to width? It should not be.

Also, when applet is in panel, i think it should display the first departure instead of just displaying icon. It's quite useless in that way.

And the last thing, why does cp.atlas.sk accessor contain these items: Autobusy, Vlaky, Vlaky + Autobusy, Lietadla? Those are just means of transport, not cities.

Anyway, this is very usable applet, all of my recommendations are just visual improvements to consider. I'll be glad to test future version as well. - Jul 28 2009
Maybe it's because i don't have compositing enabled? I tried also different themes and it's hard to read letters on every one of them.

Of course, i will test it as soon as i can an will let you know. - Jul 26 2009
Hello,
it's awesome to have my bus stop supported by applet(cp.atlas.sk). Many thanks for implementing that.

I have noticed that using Aya plasma theme items are too dark. It's hard to read. Maybe more appearance configuration would make it better.
Other note is, once you have applet configured and go again to configuration dialogue, it forgets city, everything is ok. At least for cp.zoznam.sk

Thanks again and good luck to future development - Jul 24 2009
Thank you, unfortunatelly i realized that IMHD.sk is probably not very friendly in providing their service to others according to their disclaimer under every page which says that downloading any data with scripts is not permitted.

On the other hand i found other provider, which provides departures for much more cities and not only local public transportion, but also long-distance buses and trains. The webpage is http://cp.atlas.sk/vlakbus/spojenie/.
This page can be switched to english and german language too(the switch is in righ down corner), so i will only give you some example stops:

Under tab departures, there is field Timetable: which is not translated, here are translations:
Vlaky-trains
Autobusy-buses(only long-distance)
Lietadla-airplanes

There are cities(city public transportation) and Kombinacie, which means combinations of different means of transportation.

example stop in Kosice would be:
Alpinka

I'm very sorry i didn't find this web before, but i have never used it and i didn't even know it exists until now. I wouldn't have asked you to work with IMHD if i knew about it.

Please, if you aren't too bothered with me and IMHD.sk which suck, when you have time, add this provider to your awesome plasmoid.

I will be more than pleased to help you in any way you need.

Thank you so much. - Jul 10 2009
Oh, you're right. I'm sorry i didn't check it first.

Thanks for your effort anyway. - Jul 10 2009
Hi,
i really like your public transport plasmoid and i\'m very thankful for it.
However, i miss some cities in Slovakia, which are very easy to add, since you already have IMHD provider included.

Let me write you what should be added:
in struct TimetableAccessorInfo_Imhd : TimetableAccessorInfo
rawUrl = \"http://www.imhd.zoznam.sk/ba/index.php?w=212b36213433213aef2f302523ea〈=en&hladaj=%1\";

The part \"/ba/\" stands for town, here is the list of them:
ba-Bratislava
bb-Banská Bystrica
ke-Košice
hc-Hlohovec
lm-Liptovský Mikuláš
nr-Nitra
pn-Piešťany
pb-Považská Bystrica
po-Prešov
pd-Prievidza
se-Senica
si-Skalica
tn-Trenčín
tt-Trnava
tatry-Vysoké Tatry
za-Žilina

Also i found a little mistake in the code:
country = \"Germany\";

it\'s supposed to be Slovakia, i think.

Please, if you have time, add these cities to your great applet.

Also there is PKGBUILD available for Arch linux users here:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/publictransport-plasmoid/publictransport-plasmoid/PKGBUILD

http://martin.ankerl.com/2007/11/04/clearlooks-compact-gnome-theme/

Please, take a look at the 3rd screenshot. It's eclipse with small tabs. Why can Clearlooks-compact theme make them smaller and QtCurve can't then? - Apr 16 2010
Well, thank you for the answer, but could they at least not be so big? - Apr 16 2010
Hi, QtCurve is really great, but how can I make tabs in Eclipse smaller? The best would be if they looked like any ohter tabs in system. Thanks - Apr 16 2010

I'm using gtk-kde4 engine actually,
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/gtk-kde4?content=74689
But whatever, i will paste the link there too, so whatever is causing the bug. should be repaired. - Jul 16 2009
Gtk bugreport to follow:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=588704 - Jul 15 2009
Yes, it does look horrible, i just didn't dare to use that strong word:)

I don't know about any other theme with stripe, so i can't compare it, but i will try to post this as a bug report to Gtk bugzilla and we will see. - Jul 15 2009
Hi,
thanks for the most beautiful KDE4 theme.

However, in Firefox it has just a little issue in menus, take a look at:
http://imagebin.ca/view/4-tsNko.html

The darker side is much longer than it's supposed to be. I don't know if this is Skulpture bug or Gtk-Kde4, so i'm posting here first.

Please have a look. - Jul 15 2009
