Hi tried to solve this problem, but even after adding
-L/usr/lib -lkritacommon -lqt-mt -lkdecore -lkdeui
to the kritaextensioncolorsfilters_la_LIBADD
path in the of the filters it still fails - the error this time is:
undefined reference to `typeinfo for KisFilterRegistry'

Where do I get this missing one - and why do I have to change this all in the makefiles? :/ - Jun 01 2006
I can't compile:
undefined reference to `QString::QString(char const*)'

There are a lot of other undefined references there, unfortunately. The system is Fedora Core. Has anyone seen similar problems? Or is anyone able to prepare a fedora core 5 package?

Since you are very active with developing flickr additional software, have you ever thought about helping the kipi-pulgins guys to improve their flickr export plugin?

The advantage of this plugin compared to a stand alone app is that it can be called directly inside the usual picture applications like gwenview, digikam or kimdaba.

And since the plugin is missing several of your improvements I'm sure they would appreciate your help - and it would be just perfect to have the ability to upload whole albums from digikam as a set together with the tags defined in digikam for them :)

In this case, it is - this page is dedicated to KDE based apps, exceptions are made for programs which are using Qt.

What do you think if k3b or amarok comes up on gnome-apps?

It's not against the program, it's just confusing that you post it here where there are pages which are dedicated to post apps for the different desktop environments...

I think this is a related bug report - it is very, very sad that the konqueror developers do not react in this case.
There are more users needed to vote on this bug, and more users needed to make clear that this is a huge usability thing, and that the old solution is not very usable, userfriendly or has any advantages above this mentioned one at all.

So: comment and vote on this bug (or create a new one covering more applications, and post it here):

I think it's me, but:
I have no idea what katapult is. The description tells me nothing about what it exactly does - or, to be more exactly, how it differs from existing solutions.

Does it load the mentioned programs in the memory that they are started faster? So where is the real difference compared to autostart?

Or does it launch apps through entering names or addresses in the often mentioned Alt+Space field? If yes, where is it better than Alt+F2 (which is able to use the konqueror shortcuts and therefore much more powerfull than everything else I've ever seen)?

It would help me a lot to get a more proper description about *how* it allows fast access :)

I would like to test the program :-)

I really like it!

But you should add recursive search. I assume that the most people here around use digikam for their daily photo-work, and that they have one folder for each album stored in one main folder.

The best would be to have check boxes to include exactly these folders I want/to exclude all folders I don't want.

Keep up the nice work :-)

Can you change the checking part of your program?

2) If you bring out a new version, how can I deinstall the old on?

When I download a theme for example because it was not updated for a longer time and so does not appear at get hot new stuff, I normally download it to a tmp directory.
If I then call superkaramba to go to this directory, and load this theme, superkaramba should make a copy for itself in its ~/.kde/share/apps/superkaramba/themes !

I would expect this as a normal user so that I can delete this file later. And a normal user is not able to copy it to this special directory by himself...

Please add this in future releases.

So if you use compose and click on a window you jump to that window, if you click somewhere else you jump back to your desktop.

Is that possible?

If you are using a german system, you have to change ESTABLISHED to VERBUNDEN - I think its similar for other localized linux systems.

And: I hat to add the option -t to the netstat command - here on Fedora Core it prints out all active Unix sockets without a -t.

I imported a cisco pcf and now try to import the certificate "VPNclient-Certificate.der" which I placed into /etc/certs (is this the correct place?).

When I click "import certificate" and change to DER CA I can browse my filesystem to choose the file. But: the filter is *.der *.ca and I have to remove the *.ca to see my *.der certificate.

When I choose it I and press ok, the window with the filename and directory for certificate comes back - and if I press enter or click "ok", the window does not disappear!

I can press enter as often as I want, it just seems that the button does not have any function.

My system is a Fedora Core 4, kvpnc is in version 0.7.2.

Well, on the one hand you are right because we really need this "common installation api" (COIN, so at least I have a cool name for it :D ).
But on the other hand there is kpackage wich is able to access different package management tools.
And there is which could be the coin-api for the kde-gui.

It supports no yum, no urpmi, no yast - that's about kpackage.
And it does not look as good as this! ;)

Yes, but not everyone uses apt. It would be much nicer if there is a packagemanagement-independent tool to manage all the software. :)
