Could you please share the icon theme too.
I'd like to write a simple installer for it - like Caledonia. Will write about it soon on my blog: http://rolling-ubuntu.blogspot.com/ - Sep 27 2012

Hi,
You missing alsalib, vorbisfile, libogg and probably libao. Install them and try again. - Mar 13 2009
... And for further discussion, or any other questions about Antico Deluxe, please, wellcome to http://v4fproject.wordpress.com/antico-deluxe-development-discussion/ - Jan 29 2009
Hi,
Thanks for the question.
Antico Deluxe is a fork of Antico. My project aims to be very complete mac clone which is not the goal of original Antico at all. As the times goes, Antico Deluxe will differs very very much from Antico (see TODO file and FEATURES above).
So, Antico Deluxe will have only the part of the name (I have personal permission for that) and about a few hundred lines of code for core X management from original Antico.
Thats why both project cannot be joined, at least for now.
Cheers.

glad to see yo have managed the include headers, and thanks for the report. For sure, I will add the header in the next version to prevent further mistakes and compile time errors/ - Jan 15 2009
..... or, your X11 headers are not located in /usr/include - Jan 14 2009
Dont know, many .cpp files in AnticoDeluxe use direct calls to X11 libraries and functions; if the compiler passes through other files, you probably do not missed any specific X11 headers, just the keyboard identifiers are wrong. Any way - in my Ubuntu 8.10 box everything goes fine. - Jan 14 2009
Well, this is not a real bug, just somewhat incompatibility with some Linux distros - AnticoDeluxe cannot find its core library - amelib.so, and thus - it crashes at startup. This probably affected a user a while ago (and many others), and he ask me here did I have an idea what's wrong - just nothing - Today, thanks to another user in our linux portal I can see the default location of AmeLib (/usr/local/lib/) may cause a crash when AnticoDeluxe stared at login manager (KDM/GDM/..) or by .startx and post here a quick workaround - just update ldconfig settings to point /usr/local/lib - as described in main page.

:)
obviously the problem is in your compiler or my bad coding style. Anyway, I'll check this, though (if you have a compile time errors, many others might have too, which is the problem of mine :) :)

Regards - Jan 05 2009
nope, here is mine
g++ -c -pipe -O2 -D_REENTRANT -Wall -W -fPIC -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_XML_LIB -DQT_GUI_LIB -DQT_CORE_LIB -DQT_SHARED -I/usr/share/qt4/mkspecs/linux-g++ -I. -I/usr/include/qt4/QtCore -I/usr/include/qt4/QtCore -I/usr/include/qt4/QtGui -I/usr/include/qt4/QtGui -I/usr/include/qt4/QtXml -I/usr/include/qt4/QtXml -I/usr/include/qt4 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I../build -Iforms -I/usr/include -Iforms -o ../build/mime.o mime.cpp
compiles like a charm.

try to remove rounding brackets after return keyword... and tell me if it works. - Jan 04 2009
It could be happened in AnticoDeluxe startup code when trying to find any other processes to decorate with window borders. Try to remove autostarted programs (via xinitrc). I'll check startup code again. Thanks for the report.

Meanwhile, you can start AnticoDeluxe in Xephyr by using .test script - already included.... or you can start X without WM, just a simple terminal and then type a command above to see what happened.
And have a look at logs files - it may help you.

Happy New Year.

In order to start AnticoDeluxe from .xinitrc put into the file an exec line like this:
exec /usr/local/bin/antico-deluxe &
or use Xsession script provided and start AnticoDeluxe session - Dec 31 2008

Hello, I'm using latest svn version (273), and there is no mac menu bar. XBar applet is here, but it is only a taskbar :). How can I enable the menu bar functionality. Thanks in advance. - Sep 24 2008
