Nice! Do your best :). Cheers. - Jan 27 2010
Great idea and job! Would easily use this when it matures a little. One idea that could improve this is to make the toolbar(?) autoscale with content to loose some restraints on the title bar.

Example: the image posted here. The titlebar is cramped, but there's also a lot of wasted grey space on the right side of the help menu. Autoscaling would loose this space and make more room for the title bar.

Also, if the title bar gets smaller than X-number of pixels wide, it should be replaced by a simple app-icon.

Don't know if everything is clear enough, otherwise I'll try to do better next time. And don't feel bad if this is beyond you're current skills. Hopefully you'll be better skilled soon, otherwise someone else may take up the work there :). - Jan 26 2010

First of all, you can skip the ""-part in the user box. Second, gmail uses port 993, so check if you have the right port set. You should check the non-standard port box and type '993' beside it. That should do it. - Jan 21 2010

...a Swedish public transport? This one here is a local one, but covers a pretty big area of sweden with lots of people.

Here's a departure board (where you fill in a stop and get the time to departure in real time):

There's an autofill function in the textbox, so you can probably fill in any letter there and get a list of stops. Here's some examples of stops anyway:
Hogenskildsgatan (a small one)
Brunnsparken (a bigger one)
BorĂ¥s resecentrum (in another town)

Hope this helps. Thanks for a great plasmoid. - Jan 20 2010
Here the site for the main public transport company in the Gothenburg region in Sweden, translated to English. Looking forward to this update :).

Great! Would be stupid to get sued over something like that. Like the icon-theme by the way. - Oct 13 2009
...what's up with the Nikon-logo folder icon? I believe the logo is trademarked. I doubt you're actually allowed to use it like that.

Besides that, is it really necessary? - Oct 12 2009

Oh man, I hope you get the time soon. This is probably the best script for amarok 2 yet. Maybe you should try to get help from other devs to get this thing rolling. - Aug 26 2009

This is a great plasmoid with a lot of potential usage for a lot of people. However, it could be a lot simpler to use or at least have some sort of manual.

Right now it's kind of difficult to use it if you don't already know how. A word like "regex" is non-explanatory for newbies. Also, there is no help to learn how to use it. There are also a lot of file-extensions that the user should know about before they use it-

My suggestion is that you could use predefined filters for different kind of files. For example a video-filter, document-filter etc. Classifications that are common to sort into. All the user has to do is fill in the destination for the different classes. This way, the user also gets an example of how the regex is supposed to look, and can thus learn how to define own filters. - May 08 2009

Nice app, though I cant test it a lot because it doesn't seem to like my webcam at all. No picture at all in webKam, but it works perfectly fine in Kopete.

It's a built in camera on a samsung nc10 netbook. I know this netbook still isn't supported very well in linux, but the webcam always worked fine in cheese. - Mar 25 2009

Clicked the expanders, but still no search results. It doesn't seem to have crashed either though. - Mar 13 2009
No, I'm currently using 2.0.1. Not backwards compatible? - Mar 13 2009
Hmm...searching doesn't seem to work on my installation. Also, it would be nice if you renamed the archive so that one can install it with the amarok script tool. In other words, it should have the amarokscript.tar.bz2 file ending. It would make it possible even for noobs to install it.
However, as searching does not seem to work, I can't test it any further now. - Mar 13 2009
Wow, that's a really nice idea. I'll be sure to try this one out. Thanks. - Mar 13 2009

Ok, following #2 from the above tip, I edited the pacpl.desktop file and copied it to the folders given by 'kde4-config --path services' and now it works.

Here's how pacpl.desktop looks after I edited it:

I installed this script and it seems to work fine except that I don't have any servicemenu in dolphin. What can I do?
