The issue is fixed! Thank you!!! - Jan 03 2014
Hi. This script is essential for me. I can't thank you enough. I've been using version 2.7.1 for a while. I notice the changelog for 2.8 seems to address an issue that I've had. Here's the issue:

kubuntu - KDEInit could not launch /usr/bin/kate - Ask Ubuntu
http://askubuntu.com/questions/348745/kdeinit-could-not-launch-usr-bin-kate/349093#349093

My question is, How do I upgrade from 2.7.1 to 2.8? Can I just install 2.8 on top of 2.7.a? Or do I have to uninstall the prior version?

Thanks!

Thanks for all your great work. I would not want to use KDE without Bespin and shadow effects. :) - Jul 03 2010

yes, thank you. I have been playing around with the hovered/unhovered colors. It's nice, but that doesn't really address my needs. My problem is that cannot easily see the scroll bars (with default colors) so I have to hunt for them before I can even hover.

Actually, something like what Mac OS X uses would be perfect. I'm typing this on a Mac and my active window scroll bar is blue (unhovered). All inactive window scroll bars are silver/white. It's a nice look and very functional. - Jun 28 2010
I like your suggestion to separate the functional colors in inactive windows vs active windows. That would be really cool. It would certainly help me make the look of my workspace as clean as possible.

I would like it if the slider color could almost blend with the other window elements on inactive windows so they become nearly hidden.

Personally, I would also like the opposite effect on active windows -- I'd like the sliders to have even more contrast. A lot of times I can't tell the position of the sliders in active windows with a quick glance because the slider element lacks distinction.

Thanks for your quick reply and your great work on Bespin! - Jun 27 2010
Is it possible to hide the sliders (scroll bars) on inactive windows?

IMO Bespin should be the default KDE style. :) - Jun 27 2010
