I really like this theme. I think it is very elegant and simple.
I have one problem though. Libreoffice documents (odt, ods) dont have an icon, they show the default gnome icon. Strangely, MSOffice documents (doc, xls) do have a custom icon.
¿Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Im using Ubuntu 13.10.
Thank you - Oct 29 2013

That is strange, I've just tested them and they work properly in my computer. Do you have problems with all the colors? or just the blue variants?
Also, Chrome should look ok with the base theme (there is no need to apply the separate theme file). I'm using the file you sent me, with little tweaks.
I still could not fix the synaptic issue. Don't know how, but will keep trying.

- May 24 2013
It is strange, but it happened to me too. After changing themes sometimes I have to logout and login again, otherwise it doesnt display well (it didn't happen in 12.10)

I'm glad you like the themes. I agree, the orange/gray buttons in RadiancePCalm doesn't look good, and I will try to change them soon.

I will work in a blue version of AmbiancePDark (I received your message but couldnt view it yet).

That´s a good idea, but those fixes are currently on hold. Now I'm working to adapt the themes to Nautilus 3.6, so it can be used in Ubuntu 13.04.
I expect to finish that next week. After that, I will start to work in items 4 & 5.
- Apr 11 2013
Hello. Items 1), 2) and 3) were fixed in the last version (2.7). Unfortunately, I dont know how to fix 4) and 5) yet.
- Apr 09 2013
Thanks for the suggestions.
Items 1) and 2) are currently on my punch list. I will try to fix them soon.
I don't understand what you mean in item 3). Can you please upload a screenshot showing that? (maybe to the ubuntuone service)
Items 4) and 5) are more difficult. Chromium doesn't seem to be following the GTK theme.

I will consider splitting up the project in two. - Apr 04 2013
Weel, I don't know what cloud have happend but I'm glad you make it work.
- Apr 04 2013
That is strange, I've just tested and it works fine for me.
Witch OS version are you using? Because these themes will only work properly on Ubuntu 12.10 or 13.04 (or anything else based on gnome 3.6). They will not work properly on Ubuntu 12.04 (because it uses an older version of gnome), nor in Gnome 3.8

Ok, let see. What do you mean by "does not work"? Please be more specific.
What program are you using to change the theme? Can you select it? What happen when you select it?
Is RadiancePMetal the only one that doesn't work?

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Just to let you know, I will be adding another theme soon, so come back in about a week to check it. - Apr 02 2013
It is done in the new version (v2.4). Unfortunatly, Metacity treats images different than GTK, so it is not exactly the same. However, I personally think it is better than the previous version. Let me know what you think. - Jan 17 2013
I see. I will try to fix this in a future release (I have no idea how to do it now!) - Jan 17 2013
That is actually in my punch list. The thing is that I couldn't make it work so far. When I change that color to white, the color of the other (unselected) tabs also change, making it imposible to read. But I will keep trying! - Jan 16 2013

I'm glad you like it. I will certainly try to do that. It's currently in my puch list. - Jan 16 2013
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Which theme are you using (AmbiancePDark, PNight, etc.)? Can you upload a screen capture of Rhythmbox to see it? (I use gmusicbrowser instead of Rhythmbox). You can use ubuntuone to upload it. - Jan 16 2013
Hello. I'm glad you like the themes.I've been working in your suggestions.
In the new release (v2.2) I've added "metal" background to GTK2 apps (e.g., Firefox, Libreoffice, etc.). I could not make Firefox, Thunderbird and Chrome follow correctly the themes, so I've created specific themes for them. For Firefox and Thunderbird I've created Personas that you can apply from the web, and for Chrome I've added a file that you have to install (see instructions above).
I've also fix the bug with the music controls in AmbiancePDark.
Saddly, I could not fix the issue with qBitTorrent. It seems that the program is not following properly the GTK Theme, but I'm not entirely sure. I will investigate a little further. - Jan 12 2013
Ok, don't panic, we'll get there!
The .themes folder is where the user themes are stored. It is in your user's home directory. If it's not there, is because you have never installed a theme before. You can safely create the folder (dont forget to start with a dot). Once you did it, copy all the extracted folders from the downloaded file in it.
The UbuntuTweak app does not come installed by default in Ubuntu. You have to download the .deb package from its website (http://ubuntu-tweak.com/). Then, just double click on it to install it. Run the program and go to Tweaks --> Theme (i have it in spanish, so the names may be different) and you should find the new installed themes. You have to change both the GTK and Metacity (window) themes.
I hope i was clear, because english is not my main language.
Good luck, and let me know if you made it work. - Dec 31 2012
First, download the file and extract its content (several folders).
Then copy all the extracted folders in Home/.themes (use CTRL+H in Nautilus to show the hidden folders).
Finally, use a program to select and change the theme. I recommend UbuntuTweak, but you can use GnomeTweakToll, Unsettings, MyUnity, etc.

If you need more help, please ask.

Thanks. Actually, I forgot to mention that the window's buttons from RadiancePMetal are from the Faience Theme. - Nov 24 2012
