1. I like the classic view, please do keep it!

2. I use the panel option "Windows can cover", but when I mouse-over the previews the panel hides. Is there any way you can configure the panel to remain showing while the mouse is hovered over the previews?

3. Is it possible to add "quick launch" launchers, kind of like windows 7, to the taskbar? In other words, the icon appears in the taskbar regardless of whether or not the application is open and if it is not then it will launch it upon being clicked. Maybe the icon could look different depending on if is open or in "launcher mode", like a border or a color or something?

Thanks for the good work, by the way! - Aug 21 2009

Thats a lyricwiki problem. Theyre currently having server load issues that causes the server to not respond to requests. - Jan 02 2007
Not that I know of. You can press the "Open in External Browser" button to view them in the browser though. - Nov 24 2006
I believe this is a problem because the format on LyricWiki changed.

I've got an exam to do tomorrow, so I'll investigate further and fix it tomorrow night or the day after.

Sorry for the problems. - Nov 08 2006
I really don't know why it isn't working for you. You could probably try installing QtRuby manually (not from .deb) but other than that I'm at a loss.

Have you tried using version 1.1? Version 1.1 SHOULDN'T crash the script (it didn't crash when i uninstalled qtruby and tried it) and should just use the defaults if it isn't finding QtRuby. You won't be able to alter the settings, but you should be able to run the script.

In order to make it work, you require QtRuby. To install it in Dapper:

sudo apt-get install libqt0-ruby1.8 - Aug 27 2006
That it is. Enjoy! - Aug 16 2006
Just uploaded 0.6.1. Installing that will fix the apostrophe problem. - Jul 28 2006
whoops, sorry. gotta sleep now but ill fix this in the next couple of days. - Jul 27 2006
thanks for the tip, that gives me a new project. it will let me get more experience with xml and ruby, which is a plus... whenever I get a day or two off work. - May 26 2006
Very strange. Somehow you arrived at a page without html title tags.

Can you let me know what you were trying to listen to so i can figure out what exactly is happening? Did you get that message after clicking a suggested lyric when there was no exact match, or was it found on an exact match? I can't seem to recreate the problem, so please let me know. The only guess I have is that the server may not have responded, because even error pages on LyricWiki.org have title tags.

In the meantime, I'll make sure it gives an error message instead of crashing as a result of that error, but I'd obviously prefer to know exactly what is causing it. That way I can either avoid it altogether or at least explain the cause in the error message.

By the way, thanks for alerting me to this problem. - May 25 2006

I'd rather have it organize all files alphabetically. Besides, I don't think its worth it to alter the current system since you could just name the files file01 file02 ... file 10 and it would display correctly. - Jun 11 2006
