As of TrueCrypt 5.0 this is somewhat unneccessary as tc 5.0 adds a linux GUI, unless kwallet suppor is wanted. For now, however, this script does NOT work with tc 5.0. The last successfully tested version is 4.3. - Feb 06 2008

About the feature request I made earlier; clicking the slider should get you to the clicked point instead of doing a jump.

I found this link http://lists.trolltech.com/qt-interest/2006-11/msg00363.html which seems to deal with this issue. Just in case this helps in getting this feature implemented :) Thanks so much for keeping up the good work! - Apr 12 2007

Ok, I was just watching a series when I came up with two features I miss.
1. Moving subtitles to the black area of the screen. You know how there can be a black area under the video if the video is widescreen and your screen is not. It'd be great to be able to display your subtitles here instead of on top of the video. Currently you can only move them within the video.

2. What should the next/previous buttons do if you don't have anything in the playlist? I'm really not sure this is a good thing but it might.. What if they just moved you to the next/previous file in the folder you are in.. Say you are watching a series file 0102.avi and you click next, 0103.avi could be a good choice, right? Do you ppl agree on this? - Mar 28 2007
Wow! That was a quick response to a feature request. Thank you so much :) - Mar 20 2007
Ok, first of all - this is a great program with a bright future. I fell in love with this app immediately and I'm quire picky with my apps usually.

There are, however some things I'd like to see improved. I'll just list them here in lack of a better place. These are not to say this is a bad app. On the contrary, I really like it and thus would only like to fine tune some things :)

- The +- 10 sec, 1 min and 10 min buttons should be possible to hide. They are most probably useless for most users, I guess I'll use the +-10 sec thing (and that with the keyboard keys) but for anything else there's the bar showing playback position.
- The 10 sec, 1 min and 10 min settings could be configurable. What if I wanted 5 seconds instead?
- The whole bottom part with buttons eats up a lot space, this part can be packed in a nicer way, for example the Windows app media player classic has a pretty nice arrangement.
- The shortcuts should be possible to change, as we're used to in Linux. See ex kaffeine.
- The progress bar should function so that when clicking on it (to change position) you jump to the place you click on - not move the slider a certain amount. I really don't understand why so many video apps do this in Linux. I constantly have problems with this, as you need grab a small knob that possibly is moving quickly (in a short file) and this is seriously hard sometimes!
- Think about possibly adding an option to see (like in Amarok) the played and remaining time in the beginning and end of the progress bar - Amarok's way of having 3 modes is really nice. With played, remaining or both visible, in addition to the total time.
-Saving the current position of all files is neat and I like it a lot - but also confusing. An option to turn on/off this feature is needed as this is really not a common thing for video players.
- Why is this a seperate program from MPlayer? I think MPlayer definitely should use this interface as the default one.

Thank's a lot and keep up the great work !!! - Mar 19 2007

Can you provide a changelog on what you updated? What is the difference from this to the one in 3v1n0's repository (http://3v1n0.tuxfamily.org/dists/edgy/3v1n0/index.html) ? - Apr 11 2007
