The font in the title and GIMP are the same. Looking back, I would have done it with a sharper font for GIMP.
And yes, that is the logo you're thinking of. - Dec 18 2008

Its just dumb to put a Word icon on OpenOffice is what I was trying to say. It's like putting a Ford emblem on your Cadillac. They are both cars, but that's not what it is.
- Apr 20 2008
I am marking this as "bad" because the use of the Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator icons for OpenOffice and Inkscape is a bad choice. Their proprietary artwork doesn't belong on opensource software. But then again this is an icon set copying a proprietary theme.

May I have a source to this? I am trying to build my first usplash, but I am lost and need an example.
- Apr 18 2008
This is absolutely great
- Mar 07 2008
But I'd much rather know my IP than your IP. :P
- Jan 05 2008
:) I always wondered.
- Nov 30 2007
Ahh. I was going to say... :)
- Oct 27 2007
Thank you for the kind words! And I entirely agree! :) Poop brown and puke orange is right on the dot. Thank you for creating the basis of this theme.
- Oct 26 2007
You are right, and I have no hard feelings either
- Nov 28 2007
I think they mean the clock desklet.
- Nov 27 2007

- Nov 27 2007

Wherez UR dood? Haha. Floating gun in Nexuiz...
- Nov 06 2007
I think the biggest update screenlets need is to use 1/10th of the memory they take up. These look great, but dedicating 200-300Mb of Ram to a few pieces of eyecandy isn't my bag.

Yeah right.
- Oct 30 2007
BTW. Why do you post comments like this on other's work while you have Vista themed content in your gallery? That's what doesn't make sense.
- Oct 27 2007
because some people prefer the look of MacOS. Get off yourself. This is about freedom of choice, not what you feel anyone else would like. If you don't like it, say "I don't like this." Or don't leave a comment at all.

1991, Linux was born. Linus Torvalds, his
Creator, dissatisfied with the operating system
Minix supported because the new evil
A 32bit i386 architecture, decided to create a
Unix kernel in order to enjoy and study
The operation of its new computer,
80386. Initially Linux (operating system
Based on kernel
Programmed by Linus)
Turn used the userspace
For Minix. Later
Linus decided that its Linus Torvalds
A system should be
Independent Minix, as not
Gradiva the license that made him freely
The logo of GNU
Usable only for educational purposes, and then decided to
Replace that part of the operating system with software project
GNU. The GNU Project, launched in 1983 by Richard Stallman, is based
On a particular management of software copyrights in accordance with the
The definition of free software, as opposed to proprietary software.
Linus, unisri to GNU, had to change the license to adopt the GPL (
General Public License), or a license that allows anyone
To use and modify the source code of software, as long as
The changes are in turn modified by other people.
Linus considered good for this license its operating system. - Oct 27 2007
Thank you!

Always good to see something fresh.
- Oct 22 2007
Details please.
- Oct 21 2007
The first thing I did with 7.10 was make a blue version of that wallpaper.
- Oct 09 2007
I'd like credit for the graphic.
- Oct 07 2007
Yes, but a lot of them were recreated from scratch. When this is finished they will all be original works released in GPL.
- Oct 01 2007
You can install these through "themes" in the control panel.
- Sep 30 2007
Nice. I'm glad you like it!
- Sep 28 2007
I like it!
- Sep 24 2007
Thanks. :)
- Sep 18 2007
:) No problem.
- Sep 17 2007
Thanks for the credit. I'd like a link to the original in your description.
- Sep 15 2007
Your file host really sucks. I can't see how to download it.
- Sep 18 2007
Rouge has a better ring to it than Rojo. haha
- Sep 16 2007
No problem. I fancy myself a bit of a linguist. :P
- Sep 16 2007
You should call it "Human Rouge" as rouge means red, and azul means blue... Just a suggestion.
- Sep 16 2007
Just STFU and find a different OS to bash. Like SUSE or RedHat. :P
- Sep 11 2007
I hope you all realize that Mark Shuttleworth was a debian developer... And what can one GPL'd project steal from another? It's like who gives a ***k about a market share on a free product...
- Sep 10 2007
Is that red font the default? Or can I change that?
- Sep 10 2007
I don't hate you... But we really should keep it gnome related here. Save the pirating of apple content for DeviantArt. XD
- Sep 07 2007
Where's the source if this is GPL?
- Sep 02 2007
That's pretty messed up. Why can't you download from gnome-look?
- Aug 26 2007
I think not.
