same problem here.
The suggested solution to the configure.in file didn't work for me ... - Jul 20 2006
The problem is solved in cvs :) Checkout from :

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/lmms co -P lmms

that did the trick for me :) - Mar 13 2006
I just installed lmms, and everything went smoothly, i just had to configure the sound engine, and it just worked !
It's really intuitive (i'm not a musician), i had no pb playing around with the tracks, the filters, and so on, thanks for this great work, and keep up !

And i see great potential too !! - Jan 24 2006

Thanks for making timestamps an option !
Now i can get to work :)

Cheers - Jun 29 2006
Ok, i may have screwed up somewhere, i tried again and now no pb... I don't understand, but as long as it works !...
A feature request, though : could make the text on each individual frame optional ? Because i'm using the generated file as a texture in a 3d engine, so the timestamps are not quite useful :D

thanks again and keep up the good work - Jun 16 2006
Compiling with qt 4.1.3, qmake runs fine, but i've got an error with main.cpp

In file included from gmain.h:17,
from main.cpp:7:
preferencesd.h:14: error: `Ui' is not a class or namespace
preferencesd.h:14: error: `options' is not a class or namespace
preferencesd.h:14: error: invalid base-class specification

any ideas ? :D

Thanks for sharing this tool, it's the perfect solution for me to generate animated tiled texture for blender. I can't wait to try it - Jun 15 2006

I'm trying to use this theme with superkaramba 0.37 RC1, but i get a blank contact list ...
The console shows several errors like this :

contactlist.py", line 267, in widgetUpdated
karamba.hideImage(widget, images[x])
IndexError: list index out of range
Call to widgetUpdated failed

Any ideas ? Is this caused by a missing library or something ?

Anyway, thanks for your work :) - Aug 20 2005

That's looking good, but there's a contrast issue between the continent and the firefox's head, so that both looks the same color in small sizes, and they're hard to distinguish from each other. May I suggest you to fix this by making the continent darker ? - Feb 09 2005

I find the red color too agressive to be used as a wallpaper. You could either choose another color or use a darker red. - Dec 30 2004

Very flashy and strong impact !

But can you show us what it looks like in other sizes ? The most important point is that it looks good in 22x22 for example as it will mostly be seen in the systray, so a good looking icon that's ugly in small size is pointless.

The contest conditions are clear, try to respect them ... - Dec 12 2004

Well at the risk of loosing the contest too, euxneks, i really like your icon too :) The last version added the necessary contrast with the black outline to actually look very good in 22x22 too. Great job (i think i'm not posting in the right place, :D ) - Dec 09 2004

This gives amarok a DJ look, that's cool. Try to export 22x22 pngs (and other sizes, as requested in the news) because i think you will have to modify your design a bit to keep the details for small sizes.

anyway, cool to see new ideas coming ! - Dec 08 2004

Your penguin is original and stylish, but i think it would be even better with another background color. Maybe a simple black->blue vertical gradient ?

It may be a dumg question, but i still don't undertand why i always have to update the db myself. Why not add/remove an element in the db automatically, for example when i create/delete a file ?
My most common use of locate is to find where recently installed software is, so i always have to `updatedb` and wait 20s before finally try to find it via locate ... - Nov 04 2004
You could just type

kiolocate:/foo bar etc

Actually it does change it's color if you use it in the systray, because of the playback animation progress, whose overlay color fits your kde color theme. If you wanna give it a try, it will be soon committed to amarok cvs :) (Probably tonight).

Anyway, i can add other color styles to the iris if you plan to use it as desktop icons. I agree it could be interesting to explore other looks. - Oct 21 2004
I submitted the icon to the core developper team, they seemed to find it really nice, but i cannot say more ...

I wanted to have more feedback via kde-look to see what other users would think about it. - Oct 01 2004

First, thanks for bringing this wonderfull app

I also have just one request, that definitely would make amarok my default player.

I am used to browse my music by genre/artist/album (don't blame me, my ipod is responsible), so could you add a tertiary entry in the collection panel, i think it should not be that difficult...

Anyway, thanks to the amarok team, and keep the pace ! :)
