it seems to be what I want, but don't know how to install it :(
ok to install it, we should install gDesklets, then install the .tar.gz file ! it's a very nice desklet, but install gDesklet a useless soft ... only for this super desklet, is a little unfortunate :/
Thanks for sharing. I like it.
.... absolutely no file (README, INSTALL, ...) which could be considered as documentation. So IT'S GONE DIRECTLY TO TRASH.
I am having trouble installing this desklet. I am new to Ubuntu/Linux, can anyone dumb this down for me?
i really love this, its the most beautiful desklet ive seen so far but the time was too big, had to sacale it back to 2.8cm
Well, now that it is 2011, the desklet gets the day of the week wrong. How can I fix this? I really want to keep using it!
here's what I did to solve that: Right-click on the Desklet, and select "View Source". Then, find the line that reads: dayval = d + ((m+1)*26)/10 + k + k/4 + j/4 - 2*j Replace it with: dayval = d + ((m+2)*26)/10 + k + k/4 + j/4 - 2*j Save the file, and restart the Desklet (Right-click, Restart Desklet). The day should be the correct one now :)
YAY, that totally worked! Thank you!
I really really like this widget. I'll be very excited when it is available as a screenlet, because I prefer that program. but I have one issue: noon appears as 00:00pm rather than 12:00pm and I don't know how to change this. Would you please be so kind as to tell me what source code I need to change and what to change it to? I would think it was a simple procedure.
How to install it? When i click CrispClock.display, firefox opens with a xml-code
very good, I really liked it. Is it portable somehow for screenlets?
Hi! Thanks a lot. Well I have just started writing widgets.. so no, it is not currently available as a screenlet. However, since I found screenlets to be more organized in terms of programming I might try to rewrite as a screenlet.
I'll be waiting for the port to Screenlet dude, looks awesome! =) Peace!
