Description:

It's based on the Greybird gtk theme.

Works best with gnome 3.6 (XUbutnu 12.10)

Not all files were modified so consider gtk themes a work in progress.

Excellent theme. Helped me make a small derivation with blue selections. Any plans for making window decorations for Metacity, etc.?

I'm glad you enjoyed my theme.
There are plans for extending the theme but I don't see any significant updates in the near future.

You can also call this maybe as Graybird or Greyerbird ;-)
But I think it might be better to include metacity theme as well and also the image files too can be converted to fully grey instead of keeping blue there.
Do you how to tweak Unity panel bgcolor as well, for example to make the shade of grey there lighter or darker?

I considered making the xfwm4 buttons grey but I liked the red on the close button so I didn't bother with the others.

This theme is more of a mod than a full theme, the full theme is at http://shimmerproject.org/project/greybird/ and I only kept what I needed for my xfce desktops, that's why there's no unity or metacity mod; maybe in the future.

If you want to modify the unity top panel colours I assume modifying gtk-3.0/apps/unity.css would be the way.
