Description: Conky is a free, light-weight system monitor for X, that displays any information on your desktop.
There is a Howto for this configuration files in the archive included. The clock and the other graphics, including the transparent background, are made with special fonts I made for conky.
First, if you don't already have, install conky and acpi(as root/sudo).
Hi i would firstly like to say WOW! i have never seen anything like this for conky, its amazing i love it lol. i've just got a few minor issues that i was hoping you could resolve.
1.
when i run .moconkyconfig4 it seems to run fine except that i get this message repeated in my terminal
./moconkyconfig/scripts/acorbattery.sh: line 6: acpi: command not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
sh: acpi: not found
./moconkyconfig/scripts/acorbattery.sh: line 6: acpi: command not found
what does it mean and how can t be resolved?
2. my .zoraclock seems to work flawlessly except for the fact that it has this blue outline of a box over part of the clock, do you know what could be causing this?
Thanks for your help,
James
Thanks, I love it, too.
1. Question:
Sorry, I forgot to mention that you need to install acpi as well. For Ubuntu it's just
sudo apt-get install acpi
If you don't want to have acpi running, edit your /boot/grub/menu.lst and add
ACPI=off
to the end of the line of the kernel you want to boot.
2. Question:
Not easy to answer without screenshot. Is it a square? Check if you have a "space" or "Tab" at the end of the line. (" ") If you can't solve it, you are very welcome to the Ubuntu Forum :) Click the link above and post screenshot, .conkyrc and scripts. You will get help there from Bruce, Crinos512 or t-mo_ (me). I am there almost every day.
Thanks, I love it, too.

1. Thanks for this it now works perfectly =)
2. I searched through the code but could not find any instances of either. I took a screen shot of it and posted it on the conkyrc thread on the ubuntu forums as im not sure if or how you can upload them here.
