is there a command that I can execute in linux shell to start a new TAB in easypaint because I want to send commands to easypaint from another application.

Hi, you can open new window from console and provide filenames by arguments, like:
easypaint file1.jpg file2.jpg
But if you have currently running EasyPaint you cann't open new file from console in current window.

got this running on Qt 5 after a little time porting. windows 7 32bit

Patch sent(Ported from Qt4 to Qt5). Changes are minimal, but works :D
