I tried to install this funny plasmo in my Mandriva 2010.0 (KDE4.3), and I can't compile it...
Then I tried to install in my Mandriva Cooker (KDE4.4), no problem to compile and install, but I don't see Tux Eyes in Plasmo list...
Have you got any probleme lik that ???
I'am not a specialist of Fedora (I work on ArchLinux and I well know KUbuntu), but I'll try to help you ;-).
First have you restarted Plasma with the commands :
kquitapp plasma-desktop
plasma-desktop
???
An over possibitity : try to execute kbuildsycoca4 (this command reconstruct your plasmoid list for KDE), and restard plasma like I said.

I love it, why don't you make it skinnable? There are tons of tuxes out there :)

I'd like to follow the Tux Eyes development, but every update the version is always 1.0 ... I missed something?
I've read now that you use arch. I've made a pkgbuild for aur, if you want, there's no problem for me to disown it

what about a merging this plasmoid with a kickoff? I mean klicking on tux opens a kickoff menu.
Why are Tux his eyes are unequal? Tux would look nicer with the same eyes.
It's really funny, i like it!! You could make themes for this plasmoid with tux's icons from crystalxp.net.

It looks much better than the default eyes plasmoid. I fou could only provide a binary :)
